Team Highlight
#79 Cole Smith - Center- LSU Signed
#1 Justin Watkins- ATH- Undeclared
#10 Jamarr Chase- WR- Undeclared
#88 Terrace Marshall Jr- WR- LSU Signed
Update: Jamarr Chase is not playing due to an injury at the end of his senior season .
UPDATE: Terrace Marshall will not be playing in the game today as he is still recovering from his injury that occurred during his senior season. He’s way ahead of schedule and will be ready to roll at LSU.
Cole Smith: is a 6’4 275lb center from Mississippi and Mr. Football award recipient. He’s an athletic , heady center with a mean streak like Trai Turner. He loves pancakes.
Justin Watkins is a 5’11 175lb Athlete from Florida . One word to describe him is electric. Watkins is a gamer with homerun ability and you want to get the ball in his hands in open space . Said to be a Florida lean at this point .
JaMarr Chase is a 6’1 195lb Wideout from Louisiana. One thing that you usually do not find in a high school wideout is polished route running skills. That’s what you will find out when you watch JaMarr Chase today. He can run any route with precision and pluck the ball out of the air with his Velcro hands. The cherry on top is that Chase shows amazing concentration and physicality when going for the ball. He can line up outside or in the slot. Just put the ball near Chase and its his.
Although he’s not playing today Terrace Marshall appears to be the crown Jewel of the Tiger recruiting class. Ranked as the number 1 player in Louisiana and number wideout in the country , Marshall has size at 6’3 195 , speed, athleticism and anything else in between . Think Malachi Dupre athleticism, Odell Beckham route running , and Jarvis Landry hands. No , it’s not an exaggeration, just go watch him dominate in his highlights or any top cornerbacks at the camps. Terrace is an absolute TERROR on the field for defenses . Look for him to make an early impact for LSU.

Is Chase playing? Thought he was hurt as well.

Bummed Marshall cant play due to injury, but cant wait to see him in spring practice.
Will be watching Smith and Chase closely. We've moved from Watkins (so did Bama).

Any of these guys committing?

Terrace isn't playing and I don't believe JaMarr is either. Both had season ending injuries.

He missed Rummel’s final playoff game due to knee surgery. I don’t think it was major but I would doubt if he plays.

No
Watkins was, but it looks like Alabama and LSU may not accept his commitment due to lack of room in their class.

No, Ja’marr Isn’t playing. He tore his PCL vs. Byrd. No surgery required, but can’t play and hasn’t participated in any drills.
