I'm sure you are right that ULM would have held a scolly for Johnson but if he knows that ULM is where he is planning to commit then his early commitment to the school helps with future commitments. I'm sure he is excited to play for Leon Lett and will help Coach Lett find some players to join him.

But there is no reason for him to jump this early on a small school situation.IMHO
Why do you feel this way?

If he really wants to go there more power to him. I wish him luck.

But you are mistaken if you think anyone is waiting to pursue this kid and/or if you think chuckie is his equal. Nebraska, Missouri and Ark have offereda scholorship to him.
I've watched both him and Chuck Hunter play and to me Hunter is a lot better and both Scouts and Rivals appear to think the same as me. I think ULM is getting a fine player still the same if they can hold on to Johnson. What I'm saying is Johnson is getting solid offers from big schools because he already took his ACT, passed it, and has his core grades and GPA in order. Chuck Hunter took his ACT I think last week. As soon as Hunter passes that ACT, I think he lands at LSU or pretty much any school of his choice. Chuck Hunter will be ranked in the Dirty Dozen as one of the state's best players short of some kind of injury.
