I was watching some of the Preseason special Caubs did last week and getting angry at that biatch from Winnfield all over again. Suck it up lady, my kids will have had 7 years of varsity football at U-High between them, and had Curtis and ECA to deal with every one of those years. She had one good team during the last decade and they got curbstomped by JC. That's not an exclusive club.

Whether split or not.... 3a still would have to deal with Curtis..... If you wanna be mad at anyone for having to deal with them.... just look at what pushed them down to play in class.....and then what pushed for play up one class.... and you'll see it plain as day...

also.. remember when playoffs for select were gonna be 3a through 5a... notice how quickly that went through.....

there is a powerful contingent that does not want to have to deal with curtis.. give you a hint.. there district is 1-17 vs curtis since integration

but you can't blame the two that have played curtis the most.. .one of those principals actually had a pretty good plan to resolve the whole issue.... but some saw it as parochial interest protecting but it was not..

basically... let people play up...which makes sense...

and.. count select school admissions differently - sliding scale for class a through 5a... which would effectively bump up... 80% of all selects by one class......

the bottom line is 3a like 2a and 1a before them got railroaded....

but I know the kids where mine goes to school look forward to the challenge.....

funny he noticed that the kids he played baseball against from those two schools are a year behind grade wise...

heck that young starting lineman ya'll have would be an 8th grader at those two schools

I think it's evident that baseball has no bearing in the decision making process for anyone. I mean, Barbe's principal voted for the split because she was tired of private schools recruiting.

Yeah, this gerry-mandering did a lot to preclude that. Ask the public school coaches in Shreveport about the summer they had.

I was just pointing out the hypocrisy of some of the people that voted for the split. Barbe's principal voted for it because she didn't like what Rummel did to her team in the Dome. But nevermind that Barbe brought in a player from Natchitoches last year to be their ace pitcher.

Might have something to do with the number of recruits the are piling up at the school. It's starting to get unreal over there with the amount of kids they are recruiting.

it's definitely part of the attrition, happens at a lot of schools though, i.e. Kids leave university\catholic to go where they will get a better chance to play or the kid finds another sport to play because the program wants a quick fix and does not have the patience to develop the kids that are already there. Its a tough business.

yeah it's kinda funny 5a was all for it.. when only one select title in a decade in football... which hints that some may push for more schools later.. which will eviscerate the LHSAA....

big time
