I just love how we're on the list for all these top guys.
We know one thing for sure, if we don't get this kid or any other kid, it isn't because Wade was outworked.

Wade has been pulling all these guys that are putting us in the mix that we normally cant get. Wouldnt surprise me at this point. If we have a good year this year, which I think we will, that will only improve.

The mcdonalds game has been around since the mid 70's. Syracluse has signed 18 with one VERY TAINTED nc. UCONN has signed 11 with 4 nc. Nova has signed 14 with 3 nc. LSU has signed TWENTY. There are only a handful that dominate recruiting: Kansas, Kent, Duke, UNC, UCLA. LSU hangs with everybody else. This is a major factor for why Coach Wade has eyed this job.The problem at LSU has never been a lack of elite players, it has been a lack of top coaching.He knows how well he can recruit at LSU. Even Dale had his struggles with a some of his loaded teams.
Oh, and to eyes glued shut who I'm sure will come out from under his rock to challenge this post, look up the numbers for mcdonalds aa signings, they don't lie.

Hard yeah, its a one and done in UA's backyard. But not as hard as previous seasons AJ has lost recruits from the BHam metro area, none as major as Watford. Think we get him IMO. Said it before he visited, and we have an ace in the hole.

Not a Wade guy, this is all Bill Armstrong. Armstrong basically did very little primary recruiting on 2018 guys coming on so late so from the get go his focus has been on the 2019 class this being his main focus. A lot of family connections between his father coaching as long as he did in the Bham area as did Bill.
No doubt Wade is a closer but I am very positive on this front. Not just saying it wherever he goes I think he will be the best pro prospect of the 2019 class.
We are in on multiple combo wings from all over the country and big man talent. Wonderful execution of the plan, all of our coaches bring a different recruiting area and background that is insane.
Wade- VA and our closer
Benford- TX and JUCO TX
Heiar- FL, FL and Midwest JUCO (HUGE!!!)
Armstrong- Metro AL, Ms, and MS Juco mostly northern division.
Every year there will be big fish if you combine the HS ranks of TX, LA, MS, AL, FL, and VA, have an abundance of options, and as what has happened the last two years confident in saying we have the best JUCO recruiting staff in the country bar none. If there are holes at the end of the year they will be filled by quality tough vets. Edwards, Cooper, Kingsby, and Taylor all four from different hardened JUCO leagues bring an attitude that will be evident day one.

Yep, and guys like ice reynolds, howard "hi c" carter, rudy macklin, dewayne scales, javonte smart, emmitt williams, and a host of others that could have signed ANYWHERE were NOT mcdonalds aa. Signing talent has never been a problem for LSU.
