I can't say I blame them, or that I would've done anything differently in their shoes. It seems like the first few years with NIL, players didn't prioritize it as much as going to the right fit and the school you wanted to play at (besides that one class with ATM).
Now, none of the top guys want to settle for anything less than the max deal they can get, regardless of relationships or the school.

It’s time the USSC clears up the fiasco they caused.
There needs to be a cap, and it must not be exceeded or federal grant money is withheld.
