ESPNU guy that was slaming LSU at the start of the signing day special. Did he change his tone after the pick ups we got? What a tool.

Once a tool always a tool

He had a narrative already prepared, but when LSU started landing their target recruits, it was too late to adjust on the fly, so he just went with it. I suggest he gets some tutoring, as he needs to be "coached up" to a more professional level that will allow him to report the germane facts of a story as it develops; as opposed to sticking with a sensationalized narrative that does not apply.

He purposely went off on a 1 minute tangent of basically slamming the current coach for recruiting less and less talent over the last 3-4 years than what we had back then.
I guess he should of slammed his own company's ratings for continuing to give us the same type of recruiting classes we had 3, 4...6 years back. Good job McStupid.

so he continued to be a cocksucker, shooting off his mouth about the talent decline at LSU over the past four years. How does this guy become an expert?

I didn't get to hear what McShay had to say, but according to this board his talk of less talent over the years is BS! We are pulling in as much talent as any other team in CFB! As for Miles not coaching up the talent, sorry to say this, but it seems to be a national perception. Living in Las Vegas, I meet people from all over the country, and no one that I have spoken with would want Les Miles as the HC of their school. I'm not saying I agree/disagree with people on this subject, but just a little info FWIW.

Todd McShay looks like the intern that made one bold prediction in front of the boss and was promoted way up.

This is all about what have you done for me lately. Miles has a good year next year, and you will hear the opposite. Most fans can't remember anything but the current year.

According to Wikipedia:
Before becoming one of the nation’s top NFL Draft analysts, McShay was the quarterback for the Swampscott (Mass.) High School football team (1991-94), and he was a backup quarterback for the University of Richmond (1995-97) before sustaining a back injury that ended his college career.
Some people just like to downgrade other people and other programs he wishes he was a part of.

what he said had nothing to do with recruiting...gettin a couple late pickups doesnt change that what he said was 100% correct...so when lsu fans bitch and moan that freshmen and young players dont get used enough its ok, but when mcshay says it hes a douche?? and the only other thing he said was that the talent level isnt what it was 2-3 years ago...so who on here will say that the 08 and 09 teams were as talented as the 06 and 07...im confused here he spoke nothing but the truth, but because lsu had an above average day in recruiting hes a douche?

I agree adn disagree with with he said.
As far as coaching up talent adn not using younger players he is right but our team is as TALENTED (capable) as the older teams.
Its not tranistiong to the field for whatever reasons I cant figure out but we have had topranked recruiting classes every year. Right along with Bama, USC Texas adn Fl.

But why bad mouth LSU's Coaching staff on national television and then vocally suck Urban Meyer, Nick Saban and Lane Kiffin's cock. Pretty crappy of ESPN if you ask me.
