Said weeks ago, I thought LSU would sign him...have heard nothing in that time to change my mind.

It's an LSU Arky battle. Mom likes that LSU is closer to home. It'll come down to the wire.

Things have been very quiet since his visit.

I didn't know mom was pushing LSU. I am pretty sure we sign him now.

Not much to report. We were kind of late to the party so Arkansas had a bit of a lead. He visits and now it's probably 50-50. We've got distance and mom in our corner.

Our in home with him this week will be huge

I think we snag him. He's a huge priority at this point

This. It's still 50/50. Arkansas side has a little confidence, but not much.

We have a 5 star OT/OG, a 4 star OT, and a 3 star OT. (Shipley has the capability to be a good one too if they decide that's where his future is) O line is fine. We were gaurd heavy last year, OT heavy this year. DL is lacking though I agree. If we are sending out late offers to 3 stars, I'd rather see it spent on guys like Q Thomas that can grow into solid rotation guys in the future.

If you have read the NOLA report on that visit weekend, that article actually says LSU is the favorite for Weathersby.

And you've certainly built up credibility in the many, many....... uh....... weeks you've been here.

Wwwwwwweeeeelllllll, if some of the guys have committed somewhere, we would know. The only guy I got right was D Jackson...I have missed on no one. I am 1-0 so far but admit I'm walking more a tightrope now.

Weathersby, Dillon or Charlot, Peters, Lewis, Arden Key, and CeCe Jefferson to LSU. I'm sure you will be the first to congratulate me if I'm correct right? I've gone out on a limb more than anyone else I've seen.

To be fair, I did also say Brossette would flip to Texas. That of course has yet to be determined.

I disagree. Save the DL spots for the loaded class next year. We have guys coming back like lacouture, QT and Godchaux. And we also have guys like valentine, Bain, Trey L, Gilmore and Herron that are hopefully ready to contribute

I don't see the need at DT. Trey LMFAO and Valentine are both coming in as RS-FR, and DT is stacked next year in LA. I think that's why we took a shot at a big talent like Mack and have otherwise not taken fillers on 3* DTs. I can understand the need at end, but we're getting Arden Key and Isaiah Washington for sure, both 4*s. Could even pull CeCe Jefferson.

Yeah, as you did, we really need to separate DT and DE along the DL. Next year, LA is loaded along the DT position. Plus, LSU lost 0 DT starters...lost both DE ones.

Im' saying 50/50 to be conservative.

I'd go with Arkansas simply because of the earlier offer and their momentum. That's it. After his visit this week we will know more.

Valentine is going to blow peoples mind. The coaches said he was physically ready this year. Trey L. has also looked great in practice.
