Do us a favor and stick to the Rant, it's clear you don't know jack shite about recruiting.
Amen. In a world of unlimited scholarships and rosters, it would be fantastic to have both Tim Williams and Michael Patterson. But this class needs to fill other holes, so you really cannot take two of the same kid at that position. Bloodworth, soothe your butthurt by watching some film on Patterson.

To lose one from LSU High school is deeply sad....cannot remember another standout at U High who played elsewhere...WTF?

I hesitate to reply because I don't think we need to waste any more time on this, but as this is the recruiting board...
I am no expert, but something is wrong with ESPN's ratings. Their work as a media and entertainment business influences their rankings more than actual talent evaluation.
I understand when there are differences between the sites, but Tim Williams is not the #1 recruit in Louisiana by a long shot. Last year, the aggregate recruiting sites would have said Landon Collins, and that was probably fair. But Williams being #1 is pretty absurd.
And to what you said earlier, this thread is bursting at the seams with crap. The Rant seeps over to Recruiting Board...

Well, when you tell kids they're going to be ranked higher if they play in your all star game instead of someone else's, that's what happens.

he won't be able to take plays off in college...Saban will have him for lunch, wish him luck and good health.

I'm not angry with TW at all. I'm angry that fans of a program virtually equal to LSU comes on this board patronizing us, while giving us " oh by the way" reminders of their championships. Your Coach resides in the gray area of the NCAA Ruleboo ie; cars to girlfriends, for example, not a family member, always has, and when the rules catch up, he'll find another way.
So you can take your smug arse back to where you came from.

I blame you for this, BTW.

Here's a newsflash for the people getting all bent out of shape over this: at this point in the game, the coaching staff is holding a spot for one DE and one DE only, and his name isn't Tim Williams

Meh. Not too worried about this. It's only an issue because the publicist Saban has embedded at Bristol is making this an issue.

The constant news slant that ESPN has towards Alabama and Saban, and consistently helps slight LSU.
Kendall Beckwith was the number one player in Louisiana until it became a story that Alabama pulled a recruit from a HS on LSU's campus, then he became the best player in the state.
Nevermind that he couldn't commit to LSU if he tried to. They stole him from us according to LSU. And since ESPN sets the narrative for sports in this country, that's all anyone will believe.

Haven't asked. Haven't talked to my guy since the 8th, and it wasn't about this.

FWIW, I see more people of dark completion wearing Alabama gear than white people in Lafayette and around ULL campus

Just like Tulane fans were always Bama fans because Bama could beat LSU while their team couldn't back in the 70's.
