Thanks to peaster68
I give you Jonathan Rumph

Word is that Miles offered him. Also has offers from Miss State, Ole Miss, and is expected to be offered by Tennessee by the end of the week. He is on track to graduate in December.
A little extra info, the kid was Mr. Basketball in South Carolina.
UPDATE: Has also been offered by Arkansas. That makes (in no order) Ole Miss, Miss State, LSU, Arkansas

Don't know if this guy can be trusted but he posted this in the 2013 and I am sure many people missed it.
Kid looks pretty good and may end up filling our big WR need.

Someone I want to talk about it Torrodney Prevot. We were first to offer and since then he has just exploded. He got offered by Baylor, Oklahoma, and Texas(unconfirmed) today. He was supposed to go to A&M this weekend but canceled because of a track meet. He is going to visit us for the spring game.
He moved into the Top 247 this week Link

“A&M, I used to go to the games because I had a lot of interest. When the new coaching staff came there was a period where I didn’t have any contact with them. I did have a lot of interest in them. But now they’re back in the picture again,” he said.

He says he is wide open as of right now.

Jeryl Brazil was offered by FSU and Ole Miss.

Free Darian Claiborne Article Kid has been getting a ton of offers and may be our LB for this class. I think we try to get a more elite player before offering Claiborne.

Barton Simmons on Carlton Perkins
-Kid probably won't get an LSU offer unless he blows it up at camp after LSU already taking Cutrer and White but he's an interesting prospect nontheless. he could end up being a big-time steal for a Ole Miss type program.

That surprises me because I always that he would get an offer. The staff wants him at safety and carlton sounded confident they would offer soon.

I hope this means we go after an elite safety like Antonio Connor or Marcell Harris.

Eric Nahlin @EricNahlin
From a great source re RS-J: LSU is the other bcuz if he didn't have an 'other' he'd already be committed to UT. #OrangeHouse

Wescott Eberts @GhostofBigRoy
Fort Bend Dulles DB Maurice Smith is being looked at by Texas as S/C, will attend JD2, told OB that Texas is his dream school. #hookem

Wescott Eberts @GhostofBigRoy
Texas is tight on scholarships across D, so JD2 offer for Maurice Smith unlikely to be forthcoming, but he'll continue to be evaluated.

Wescott Eberts @GhostofBigRoy
2013 Alief Taylor DE Torrodney Prevot is a name Texas fans should get to know. Likely wasn't offered today, but could be if he makes JD2.

Wescott Eberts @GhostofBigRoy
Considering Texas is only going to take one DE in the 2013 class, a Longhorn offer for Torrodney Prevot would be a pretty big deal.

LSU and Dontre Wilson mutual interest. LINK$

He likes Oregon and Texas won't go away so we are very unlikely to get this kid. But nothing wrong in trying.

Noel Ellis was offered by A&M and Auburn. He says he likes Auburn the most right now. One analyst said(forgot which one) that its unlikely we offer.

Still no offer for Ishmael Wilson.

This is WR Ellis Jefferson's Twitter Profile pic

Thats at LSU right?

2014 Notes
LSU is showing serious interest in
Nick Harvey
and
Cedric Collins
both are two of the best DBs

Edward Paris has an LSU offer LINK but what I didn't know is that he is originally from New Orleans and he is related to the Edna Karr head coach.

To finish it off enjoy some Interviews with the coaches

I think I got it from a tweet. I am not on scout.

Most of the recruiting info gets put on twitter anyway so their is very little need in having a sub at a paysite.

Is there history that the Karr coach hates LSU or something? Don't live in Louisiana so I'm not real keen on the HS coach relationships with the school

Great job GW.

What is Rumph's size? Wouldn't mind a JC wr this year. Also hope we offer Eldridge Massington as a hs option.

Prevot is indeed blowing up. He is really getting close to Eric Nahlin and is posting on Longhorn sites so expect him to be a Longhorn if offered. Maybe not right away but eventually. Hopefully I'm wrong but I'm not sure we'd take a DE before getting further along with Beckwith and Williams. I wouldn't mind at all though.

I think we'll get on Claiborne hard now. Imo they should go ahead and offer but the staff knows what they're doing so it's up to them. Will be an interesting week for Claiborne next week.

Perkins is a tough one. I like him more as an athlete than Cutrer but like Cutrer more as a S so I'm perfectly fine there. I'm guessing Barton's correlation with White is factoring the offers to Diarse and Jefferson in. White is a CB if he plays defense so I don't think he is a factor at all with Perkins. We need another S and Diarse is no lock so I certainly hope we press for some OOS kids if no Perkins. Hopefully he blows up the camp because I like him a lot. Also he's versatile enough to play RB and possibly even wr if needed. Still too early to stress over who gets left out though.

Ellis is going to be a miss. We'll be fine with the guys we land but that kid can cover and him likely ending up with a Rival will make it more a miss. Completely understand the staff not offering though.

Love to see Brazil blowing up

RSJ is a Longhorn. Good to know we at least made him think a little. Either that or he is trolling the shite out of Longhorn fans which I don't believe.

Wilson will get his offer. I hope.

Smith will be interesting. Hopefully he waits for the Texas offer before commiting somewhere. If not and he gets that offer then some school is going to be upset.

I really like Dontre Wilson but have no clue how we would use him. We don't even have anyone on the roster to show him how we'd use him. With his skillset Oregon is by far the best fit. Problem with Oregon is that Thomas Tyner is a similar back already commited to Oregon. He doesn't care for Texas very much.

Love Paris' potential. Don't know anything about Harvey but Collins is top notch. Texas will be tough to beat for him. Also we have a huge foot in the door with Tony Brown for that class and he may be the best of all of them. When we win the MNC this year(I'll never lose confidence), 2014 will possibly be our best class ever according to rankings.(Spears/Clayton class was before rankings meant anything). It's all lining up nicely.

The Karr coach and him are related? Shiiiiiit, that means his uncle is franks homeboy. We may very well pull several huge OOS guys. The new ST coach is slamming H-Town and Henry hasn't even worked up a sweat yet. We all know how important recruiting is to Les... I bet you Henry will turn some heads too.

2014 is going to be nasty. I agree possibly best ever if we get who I think we can get.

Loving coach Mac's recruiting ability. Good hire.

I did some twitter stalking and I discovered Ellis Jefferson loves LSU. He would probably commit if offered. 6-4 WR. Haven't seen film(can't find any). But I hope he is good.

Surprisingly, a lot of DFW guys don't have film. Jefferson and Massington off the top of my head. Kind of odd considering how many kids are in that area

Haven't seen Jefferson's film but a couple of Texas(state) people I talk to think he's good but just not the name of some of the other big wrs in Texas.

Massington has film on HUDL along with his teammate Kameron Miles. They did anyway so I assume it's still there. I love Massington. A bit raw but has a shitload of potential.

Thanks GeauxAggie. I watched it but must have missed that part at the beginning.
