I know there is another thread but this did need it's own thread.

I was talking to a Coach who knows Haynes King in fact he was an assistant at Longview for 10 years and a head coach in Texas. He also was a State Championship in Louisiana. I asked him about Haynes and he told me LSU offered and never really recruited him. I was also told that he would have come to LSU all they had to do was push for him.

Arkansas The Aggies really came after him and as you know he ended up with the Aggies. The reason he went to A&m is Jimbo. The history Jimbo has with QBs was the reason.

But he said LSU could have gotten him if they would have pushed for him.

The Calzada kid they have will be the starter after mond leaves and king will be sitting the bench for three years with a likely transfer. King looks great in 7 on 7 and in a camp setting. I may be wrong but I don’t see him panning out in the SEC. He’s far from a natural thrower.

Maybe Georgia State could use him for the triple option

IDK why it would. Haynes King isn't as good as Max or Finley. King can't throw an accurate pass longer than 40 yards unless his receiver is wide open, and even then he overthrows the guy. He is a very good athlete who can run with the best of them, but when it comes to throwing down field he is average to below average. King has a outstanding oline blocking for him, Max doesn't. Last season Max had less than 3 seconds to get rid of the ball. The kid was pressured on nearly every single play, and he still put up some great numbers. People just look where a kid is ranked by some recruiting service, seldom do they actually watch film and see what's going on. And the reason they don't is because....THEY ARE TOO IGNORANT TO KNOW A THING ABOUT THE QB POSITION TO BEGIN WITH!!!

This is nothing new.

We have heard this already.

I was very disappointed in watching him last night. I definitely let the 5 star rating influence my want for him.

I get it's just one game, a true elite qb prospect should never look that bad against a winless team. I don't know what to make of him.

You really should proofread your posts before you hit submit. It is riddled with typos.

Even though this is regurgitated info, it MIGHT have ruffled some people's feathers if you had posted this before his abomination of a game last night on national television

Our guy (the tall one) is widely known to be the least accurate of all these guys
