That would never work in college.

I could not see this being a team's strategy the whole game, but would you run this maybe once or twice a game then. I mean we run reverses, flea flickers, hook and laterals. What if Boise St. would have scored on Oklahoma with that formation. Instant ESPY.
Clean, so are one of those people that thinks it should be illegal to throw the football. Im sure people didnt really like that idea either when it first came out.

catholic pc, we run the air raid. we gotta do all we can as far as schemes to win. we don't have a JC or PBS type line

So you are part of the staff that was with CoachNW, I take it. I like Catholic PC football, although I am against the forward pass, for the most part.

haha yea coachNW was my coach in HS and one of my mentors. Your like sid edwards, he gets nervous anytime that ball goes in the air

You do realize that I don't like many people. And vice versa.

Not to be too picky, but ECA did not actually run this new offense.
They ran the "Lonesome Polecat" designed by Glen "Tiger" Ellison (40+ years ago), which later morphed into the "Run'N'Shoot."
The A-11 offense takes advantage of the scrimmage kick rules where lineman numbers (50-79) do not have to be worn. There is shifting/motion at the last moment before the snap so that the defense can not recognize who is actually eligible by formation, since they are all wearing WR eligible numbers.

Who thinks this could be used once or twice a game?
Posted on 7/25/08 at 10:06 am to tigerbill002
I agree with tigerbill that maybe it could be used once or twice a game to keep a defense off guard. I think going to a gimmicky offense like this full-time would be imprudent.

That looks like an over-crowded flag football game. Hope this shite doesn't get contagious because it sucks!
