are you fricking serious?

yes carl i think he is. Texas will not go to a bowl and have a losing season. And they have no excuse for it. Look at all the teams they have lost to. Baylor???? Many of them.

Gilbert was the top qb taken 2 years ago. Their recruiting classes are unbelievably ridiculous. Mack FIVE frickING MILLION!!! and a 2 MILLION BONUS!!!

that is 7 million dollars a year, with the biggest and badest recruiting bed. He hand picks everyone he wants and he gets them.

and a losing record?
this is unbelievably worse then miles in 08

being from austin, mack is as close to god as possible. he's safe forever...his seat isn't getting warm unless he has 3 straight losing seasons.

He was in the National Championship Game last year!! If Colt didn't get hurt there was a good chance he would have won the NC. He lost his quarterback this year to the NFL where he is a starter as a Rookie. Are you guys being serious?

I loved what Mack Brown was recently quoted as saying to his coaches...."if one player is playing bad, you can replace him. If 3 players are playing bad, I can replace YOU"!

Probably not. Texas usually gets who they want and those players don't decommit regardless.

Anyone who says this, I just assume that they started watching college football this year. Why can't people get some f'n perspective when it comes to college football coaches. Brown is an institution at UT, built up the program from a very down time, has raised uber amounts of money and can recruit who he wants to. They have a "Coach In Waiting", becuause he's not leaving until he wants to retire. And when he does retire, he will become the Athletic Director.
