If LSU's commitments at The Opening had to make their own recruiting board, Texas' Jalen Curry would be high on it.

The 2019 receiver out of Houston has heard from several of the Tigers commitments about joining the program this week.

"(Marcus Banks), (Derek) Stingley, everybody from LSU -- Kardell (Thomas) they've been on me a lot," Curry said. "(They said) I need to be a Tiger, 'come join the family.'"

Curry picked up an offer from LSU in the midst of his monster junior season in which he caught more than 120 passes for over 1,500 yards.

Since then he's made several trips to the Baton Rouge campus,

LSU is limited in the # of WR's it can take this year and WR's are all of a sudden declaring their interest.

LSU should put out press that they are also short on RB, D and Oline slots.

When Marcus Banks committed, he said that recruiting Curry was his number one priority.

They're likely taking two. Palmer has one spot and I guess Lee is still being recruited as one for now. Then you have Pickens and Curry hanging around

And either of these 4 would be a major addition to our WR core. All of these WRs are polished. Love that this staff is recruiting WRs who can come in day one and be a star if they wanted it bad enough.

Idk what some people see in this staff but they are stacking up our talent folks. I hope Emery comes to his senses. Picking MS over LSU is in no universe a better option for him. LSU has the tradition, the coaches, the big OL, the WR ability and starting to gain some momentum with great QBs. We have put so many great backs into the NFL and some have won Superbowls.

I just don't see him making that choice in the end.

Kevin Faulk’s recruiting pitch: “You see these here? (Flashes hand with 3 SB rings in front of RB recruits face). I STARTED it all back at LSU again in 1995. And since then, almost every single starting RB at LSU after me has made it to the league.”

(embellishing his story a little, as we obviously had great backs before Faulk as well. But the continuous chain since him has been truly remarkable. This is likely the low point since 1995, as far as starting RB, but that is based on preseason “predictions”. We still may have a few upcoming stars this season to continue the legacy.)

Lee is a future LB IMO.

He's huge.

Is that a guess or from inside information?
