Still more of an LSU fan, born and raised one. Never was an A&M fan but went there for college due to it being relatively close to home, had a lot of friends going there, including some tail
I can live with it because it's just embarrassing on the A&M coaching staff. Coming to the SEC and then the success with Manziel upon entering the bigger, better conference should've given them the boost and momentum they needed, but they failed miserably and it comes down to one reason. All you need to do though is look at the coaching staffs and it's beyond obvious.
LSU has guys like Orgeron, Raymond, Wilson up until this year, BDP and now Craig. Just huge names on the recruiting front and now an innovative mind at DC, while A&M doesn't have any real marquee names on that front

And also, don't think for a second guys like Hamm and Billy Liucci (owner of TexAgs) don't have a negative impact. They have a severe lack of professionalism and when they hound these recruits like a jaded ex-girlfriend, that gets to these recruits/kids, who are already having to deal with so many contacts. You never hear anything bad about guys like Shea and Sonny and it's because they're the exact opposite of the Hamm's of the world.

That guy single handily cost the Aggots recruits every year. The recruits can't stand to be pestered constantly by that tool. There's a reason he doesn't have press credentials at the school he covers........
