Why had frank and Saban hit any recruit he wanted out of Louisiana.

Well if...
They shouldn't have gotten any right?

You don't retain a coach for what is essentially blackmail when he provides zero on field benefit
But he still provides beneficial results off the field, so you don't tell a recruiter who can wreck the top of your class annually to take a hike either, likely for another SEC foe.

I like the change. Don’t get me wrong frank is a good guy. I think it’s time for LSU to do a complete change. Frankly things weren’t working the way they were.

LSU was A-okay without frank wilson. He doesn't want an off field position according to sources. Do you think an SEC foe is going to give him an on Field job just to maybe have a few recruits swayed? In the NIL era?

Sure, but Frank, as a RB coach, is not worthless, despite the recent lack of production from the RBs during Kelly's tenure. Wilson developed Fournette, Hill, Ridley, Ware, Blue, Guice and Hilliard in his first stint. I think most of us can agree Kelly's O-Lines were mediocre, at best, to putrid.
So if Kiffin can fix the OL development, I think Wilson as RB coach would be competent enough and still provide his mysterious recruiting magic for the Tigers, and not for a rival.

Let's agree to disagree. Not sure I'd give Wilson credit for developing fournette or guice

That’s the absurdity of it.
The absurdity is Lamar Brown would've signed with A&M if it wasn't for Frank Wilson. Brown and Anderson committed to LSU because of Frank Wilson, so say what you want about him, but the Louisiana kids fricking love him.
