Lattimore is far and away the best back in the nation for LSU's offense. He could step in next week, if Les would play him, and do as good as any back LSU has right now. The kid is a physical freak that is ready to play NOW. I'd take him in a heartbeat.
Although he is very good and one of the best, He was a bit smaller than I thought he would be. A summer of working out with LSU and he would ready for sure.

He's 22lbs. heavier than Lache. Kinda makes me wonder how long it would take for Lache to see the field in the SEC no matter who he chooses.

I'll tell you guys what, If we win this week in the playoffs, we get Byrnes and Lattimore again. I'll be sure to tell him LSU this time.

Going back to what someone said about how we're pulling kids out of their states, and I think it has to deal with our assistant coaches and them using the relationships they already had built up before they came to Auburn.
Because of that, they're able to use those relationships, plus the fact that we can offer playing time at many positions, including running back, even though Dyer has committed and we have McCaleb, Fanin, Smith, and Aycock already on the roster for next year.
It's all one big crapshoot, but we'll see what happens come February

I think he's enjoying the recruiting game, but at the end of the day I don't see him going anywhere but USCe. I'm glad he's had fun at Auburn and I'm sure he's had fun down in BR as well but at the end of the day he just seems like a home state guy to me. He's handled his recruitment like a real pro though and I commend him on that. I think he'll be a good pro baller no matter what school he chooses.
USCe if they do get him is picking up a classy guy, he hasn't done one single thing to embarrass himself, his coaches, or any school recruiting him in this whole crazy process which sadly is a rare thing these days.
War Eagle Lattimore and good luck to you wherever you go.
