Don't confuse people pointing out legitimate issues with the trolls who really want the program to fall apart just so they can be right. Just because you disagree with how O has handled recruiting and public perception early on does not mean you automatically want him to fail. Most of us, like myself, want him to succeed.

The thing that's a little scary is that recruiting is and has always been O's strength. He did a pretty remarkable job keeping this class together as interim coach, so I personally expected him to follow that by getting off to a fast start securing other commits once he got the job. I don't fault O one bit for Moses and Allen, but the issues with our QB commits and the potential loss of a shot with Akers are real head-scratchers. It looks like we have likely lost Gay to Bama as well, and that's his position group. There have been some unnecessary self-inflicted wounds here.

I just hope he can shake this off after the OC hire and get the offensive recruiting moving in the right direction.
