This dude is huge He was at least 6'4 280 his freshman year in HS.
He was going to go to West Jeff his freshman year in 2010 and was practicing with us on the team and a week before classes start, he gets a scholarship to St. Aug
We could have used him. Always wondered when I'd see his name on this board

there is something unusual about paul having these types of offers. paul top 4 offers are texas, a&m, florida, & florida st. None of the following players (according to 247) have 4 offers from equivalent or better programs.
quinn, sims, clapp, dupree, young, goudchaux, mcdowell, etc. it is almost impossible to believe that paul has more potential than all or these guys. this cannot be JUST about paul.

That is very astute of you. (not sure if true, but very good point)
With that said, and with the programs offering him, I would think we might end up offering/ taking him just cause. I'm not sure how the numbers will wind up (way too early), but I see them taking him just cause, due to the points I made.

IMO, you're on the right track. We'll have to see how players progress before deciding that he's a need (providing that an offer doesn't open up due to recruiting class). If some OL don't progress as expected, or do something to endanger their standing, he'll be a need.
Similarly, if someone at another position progresses ahead of time, a slot at that position may become expendable.

I think he gets an offer bc IMO we miss out on brumfeld
Unfortunately I have the same feeling. I think he might have felt disrespected when Clapp was offered before him. And dad (Wildman) is conspicuously missing of late.
I hope he ends up in the class because he is one of the elite talents in Louisiana and would help make the class one of the greatest of all time. Him, Robinson, Bauer and Clapp would be an all star offensive line class. Them along with Fournette plus the Louisiana WR's plus JC WR Williams and the two QBs and the new NFL OC = OFFENSIVE DOMINATION LSU STYLE!!!
