Met the kids two years ago in Houston at a rivals camp. Great kid and super nice parents. I think the only major concern is his foot speed. You could tell when he was in camp he has a good knowledge of the game, he's just a step slow. He wasn't getting overpowered by DL's and DE's. But once they discovered he couldn't move his feet quickly they all started to beat him around the edges with speed moves.

Good evaluation Wildman.
Also, congrats again on Garrett. I see he is getting moved up rankings, but most everyone on here knew the talent he had before the rating services did.
Did he say anything about the experience of the game? Did they hook him up with some swag?
Had to be a once in a lifetime experience, and I hope he enjoyed it.
Everyone on here was very impressed with his interviewing. I can say he will definitely be looked at for SEC media days in the future, and possibly a future coach one day. Im sure you have talked to him about the big picture once his playing days are over, just thought I would add that possibility with his natural charisma

so NO improvement in 2 years? I find it hard to believe he is the same as he was as a sophomore.
thoughts? obviously thwres an issue, or he would have an offer.
