I just don't think Miles is stringing him along, its not Miles character, and I think if CM is waiting for the AA game then I think that will be what decides it. Miles will know before then if he can come aboard. IF not CM will go to his second choice. I believe this is what he is praying about. All conjecture, but if all possible, Miles will fit him in.

I appreciate all the info that has been provided but it is amazing that we have a ton of experts on this site. Here are my predictions:
Rueben Randle 70/30
J. McFarland 40/60
A. DeBose 50/50
C. Michael 100/0 if we offer
D. Holloman 20/80
Just my thoughts.

he quoted something to the matter of "I think I'll commit for the AA game...or maybe in February...or maybe sometime soon...uh, I'm really not sure when I'll commit...I'll have to pray on it"

Ok, I stand corrected... But he basically did say, it probably wasn't happening anytime soon like LSU fans were thinking...

Well CM has an offer (from last fall) according his interview, in fact its seems it led to him second guessing his committment to A$M.

A Dubose has been strongly rumored to have already committed.

JM probably about right on him
RR, LSU expert said his parents like Nick Saban

But his Dad who sell cars was wearing an LSU hat recently.

I say 55/45 LSU on RR

Allen is probably coming to LSU also

Rumors are rumors. I really don't put much into them. But if Miles let's a kid of Michaels talent go It would be beyond my comprehension. We have a punter with a schollie.

pdaddy. I hope you dont consider me an expert. I am hardly that. I was just relaying information I have gathered for awhile now. Threw in some common sense of my own as well. Im sure many know plenty more than me, but others may not. Thought I might share what I have heard. You are right about the ton of "experts" here. Everybody is a coach from their computers. But that being said there are many that are in the know. Not just here, but other sites as well. You just gotta know who to listen to and who to ignore. I would try to put a fraction by a players name but that would be complete guesswork on my part. Never can tell what these kids are thinking.

Did I post that I was a "recruiting' expert?
Here is the facts: we want a lot and we want the best for LSU, but if a player decides that he wants to go somewhere besides LSU then that is their choice. Rueben, if you go to Alabama, I respect your decision but will still hate them.

The same people that are saying CM needs an offer are going to be the same people bitching when LS doesn't come here next year when we have way too many RBs. The we haven't offered a RB but have a 3* punter argument is irrelevant. Two different positions. One position has been filled in the staffs eyes in this class and the other hasn't.

and we have a project at OL, not that there's anything wrong with that, but how often to you get 5 star RB's that put numbers up against 5A Texas competition? I think someone takes a grey shirt in the end and miles gets him.

Everyone has their opinion, but LSU could lose a couple of RB's next year. I don't see how you turn down a talent like CM no matter how many RB's you have. I really like Pratt. Correct me if I am wrong, but LSU didn't sign a true RB in '08 to my knowledge. Murphy is the youngest current I believe, and isn't he a soph?

Are you saying that 5-star RBs from Texas who are dying to come to LSU are a dime a dozen? I can't tell which way your going with this

I have learned very quickly that there are very few experts in regards to recruiting and knowing football from a players perspective. I played football in high school and was only recruited to play division III, I think it was to underwaterbasket university. But we had a lot of players on my team that was recruited highly and it was amazing to see how many players was projected to go to LSU. I will say only one made the commitment to LSU and when the others decided on other schools, it was their decisions. In short, let these kids will make their minds up on their own.

no yes maybe, nah there are but a few of them,

I guess I'm saying I'd take him over a project OL, but I don't want to disrespect the OL.

Is possible the players from your HS days all wanted to go to LSU, thus "projected "? And they decided to go elsewhere because LSU didn't offer?

Very seldom, very seldom do you have maybe 2 or 3 players that are Div 1 type players from one HS coming out as a seniors. More over and SEC caliber player. And it's base on a schools needs and schollies avail.

The Seminole Trio for example seems pretty rare. All 3 guys are pretty good prospects..

Perhaps they have other players going Div 1?

Apparently you missed out on Miami Northwestern last year. They had 6 very good players graduate(8 total).

A Bama hat?

Or a "I <3 Nick Saban" hat?
