Because Alabama has an entire department to ensure they're players stay academically eligible. So if they can get schools scared he won't qualify, they can swoop in and promise Emery that it won't be an issue.
I would bet a lot of money Alabama put this out there.

Yes he is somewhat arrogant but idiots here believe he is trash radio, guess not considering his show continues to get picked up by other stations in other areas and markets

Well Eddie Lacy wasn't eligible for LSU either but was at Bama. Maybe LSU compliance is too damn stringent on prospect and doesnt do enough to help them like Bama

You're 100% on. The guy annually wins best sports radio show and has the most listeners. Given that, it's pretty clear that there is a large group who claim not to like him yet still listen. Like I said, they're idiots.
