NB4 Lee Chatelin comes in saying the OP is right.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's an alter of Lee's to make his stupid prediction seem accurate.

I'm an Alabama fan and I don't think there is a chance in hell Landon Collins suits up for anyone but LSU. I didn't think Rueben Randle would either or any elite Louisiana prospect for that matter just as year after year I know the elite Alabama athletes will end up at UA. If you're an elite talent with a chance to win a MNC in your home state school, you go there.

I don't put on the purple and gold goggles and say that LSU will "ALWAYS" get the #1 player in our state. Sometimes they want to go somewhere else! It's happened before!
Alabama is a legitimate contender, it's not like people are saying he's going to Arkansas or Oklahoma St.

..Neaux - I am not concerned about Landon Collins - or any other recruits.. teenage boys and girls do what they do... go where they want in the end .. why be "concerned" ... we get who we get .. lets all chill and try to have a good time ...

Silent commits are likely non existent in modern day recruiting. Take Avery Johnson as an example. He's committed to lsu but wants to take his visits to have fun. Sure he says he has interest but does anyone think this is anything but a chance for him to travel and have a good time. This is standard these days. CLM preaches that commits cannot take visits but let's it go because it's the way recruiting is now. Laell Collins took visits, etc. All coaches mostly let this slide nowadays. Why be a silent commit when you can just commit and still live it up..
