So if Logan committed....

does that mean that the coaches didn't get a good feeling for Montgomery or the other big defensive recruit visiting (Jones?)?
Or did Logan commit to a greyshirt?

Maybe it means the new defensive staff evaluated him and wanted him. Didn't Saban recently offer him also?

I doubt that Logan will Gray Shirt. He would have went to Tech before doing that.

If we dont get Montgomery or Stinson, Logan will not grey shirt, we need one more DE in this class.

Not sure if Saban offered. I think LSU just kind of got on Logan recently - and apparently he is a die hard Tiger fan. The kind of guy who would probably take a greyshirt and be a Tiger than go to Tech.
I'm not knocking the kid, but I had heard how this scenario might play out earlier this week.

until i read otherwise, we are still going after montgomery and still have a chance, but i would say unc leads. but as far as i know it's not over with him.

If Logan does not get a full scholly to LSU for this year, I predict he will go to Neb. No way he goes to Latech. Now, if you meant Tex Tech, that is a slim possibility. He would take a greyshirt at LSU before going to Latech, he is way too good of a player to go to Ruston.

His Brother plays for tech, but truth be told. Before Fulmer left UT, he was a huge Vols fan. I am not sure if this is correct or not, I got my info from Bennie himself so take it for what its worth.

a greyshirt means he will be included with next years class, but would he atend lsu this year if he is greyshirted or does he have to attend prep school for a year?

If so, that was a great play. With the recent Stinson push LSU was making and the unbelievable home visit, LSU was hoping to hold off a little longer on Logan. Bama making the push was good play. Instead of us holding out on Stinson and/or montgomery, we pull the trigger early and assuring that we can possibly take just one more DE. I think this helps bama sure up stinson.
However, I think Logan will be a hell of player and am glad to have him in this class.

He has a full offer for this class as of this weekend is what is being reported. If he has accepted the offer then he will report in June with the rest of his class.

I know him he did not grayshirt its a full ride and yes Saban did offer him thursday u can take that to the bank.
