It’s not any different then a school giving a scholarship offer, kid committing and said school is still looking for a better prospect in which that kid gets processed for a higher ranked player.

Dabo is trying to restore meaning to the word COMMITMENT. The recruit can look around all he likes BEFORE committing to Clemson, or decommit anytime and start shopping around again if they are truly unsure. So I’m not sure why you would think this is hurtful.

I meant “hurtful” as in it costing recruits by scaring them into maybe not committing or not considering a school with a restrictive policy. But like I agreed, it works for them. I had just not heard about it before and wondered who else has similar policies.

One other notable team has the "outta here" no visit policy . Kansas demands the same loyalty.

The recruits know the deal when they commit, Dabo tells them to wait and not commit if they are not 100% sure and plan on taking more visits

does Dabo reject kids who were committed to another school but want to flip to Clemson?

So does Clemson not process player either because it would be nice if the “commitment” went both ways

we should institute this, if you are committed why are you visiting other school to begin with?

Legit rule by Clemson.

Tell that to Jalen Lee.

That is how I understand it. Essentially, once you commit, you cannot look around anymore as a Clemson commit, however, they will not process you. It's not a one-way street.

Clemson doesn’t take the full 25 like ever. The only ‘processing’ I can remember Clemson doing is for grades.

Totally agree take your trips. Get all the goodies but once you commit that's a wrap don't be visiting and flirting with other schools. Or you stand to lose your offer.
