Only time will tell where he falls on the depth chart, but I believe Sam can be a contributor on the 2023 team

Depends. I think Toviano will probably play a lot of S. Maybe a S/Nickel role. This guy is nothing more than depth for a position group that's in trouble with any injuries.

They liked him in spring and he was a blue chip 5*. Those are often instant impact players. You better hope he is because S is in trouble otherwise. Injuries are going to happen and that's the thinnest group alongside TE with experience.
This guy here ain't it. He's leftovers because LSU got beat out on the other guys they targeted. Someone is probably going to have to play S among the DBs and Toviano seems like a natural fit. That might actually be his natural position. Maybe Alexander.
