Best wide receiver in this class imo. He’s been making big plays since his freshman year. Watched him ball out against acadiana as a freshman and knew he’d be pretty special.

First off, he led them to a win against a top team in the country, and Carver has two five-star defense ends so I can't imagine Sampson's QB had a whole lot of time.
So 126 yards and two TDs, along with a solid one-handed catch on a 3rd and 16 to seal the game, in a win against a top opponent is good and five-star worthy

He has had five star speed and measureables since his sophomore year. His team likes to run more than pass, but he still does this against top competition. In a state that produces top talent at that position he is the most sure thing there is.

Stats are exactly why he’s a 4 star. His QB throws a nice deep ball, but is still a 1 read thrower.
Watch him catch the ball - all hands away from his body. Watch him work the sidelines - always gets 2 feet in. He’s successful running the entire route tree. If the services watched him play, he’d have a 5th star.
Laughable that Russaw thought he could cover Sampson in a goal to go situation. Shelton had him geared up for the fade then almost shook him out of his ACL. Easiest TD he’ll have all year.

Not a top team in the country. They went 5-5 last year and other than those two 5-stars they’re not that good. They don’t play in the top class in Alabama and really aren’t that competitive in their class.
