He gives his confidence rating on 6 recruits on a scale of 1-10.

Jacob Phillips 8/10
Marvin Wilson 7 to 8/10
Travis Etienne 7/10
Chris Allen 6/10
Phidarian Mathis 6/10
K'Lavon Chaisson 6/10

ETA: Jimmy's percentages from the recruiting chat

quote:

Marvin Wilson, DT, 6-4, 329, Episcopal HS (TX), 85%--I would say that may be fair right now, but I would slide it back just a hair. 85% is about as high as I will go on any prospect, and I'm not confident enough about Wilson to give it that.

Racey McMath, WR, 6-3, 215, Edna Karr HS 85%--I think 85% is fair here. He is a take, and the only thing I could keeping him out would be a commitment from D Smith and Nico Collins, or a run of 3-4 linebacker commitments.

Travis Etienne, RB, 5-11, 210, Jennings HS, 75%--I don't feel confident about Etienne right now. The offer did come a little late, and there is still some damage control that needs to be done. Tennessee is in a stronger position than LSU IMO. The Tigers will be able to go in-depth with him on the 27th.

Todd Harris, S, 6-0, 180, Plaquemine HS, 70%--Harris wants in and the Tigers will likely have room. 70% sounds about right.

Jacob Phillips, LB, 6-3.5, 228, E Nashville Magnet School (TN), 65%--I like LSU's chances here. I think they flip him this weekend, so 65% sounds good to me.

Willie Gay, LB, 6-1.5, 223, Starkville HS (MS), 60%--I think LSu has a good shot here, but it's hard to bet against Miss St. on a kid in their backyard. Recruiting Mississippi LB's hasn't worked well in the past, which has me hesitant a bit.

Phidarian Mathis, DT, 6-4, 287, Neville HS, 55% --I think it's pretty close here. Alabama may have a slight edge, but some people surrounding his recruitment see it the other way around. I was feeling Mathis and Alabama early in December, and I'm kinda back there now.

Christopher Allen, LB, 6-4, 234, Southern Lab HS, 50%--I'd say more like 25%. I just don't see him flipping. I may be wrong.

K’Lavon Chaisson, WDE/LB, 6-4, 211, North Shore HS (TX), 50%--I may go a hair over 50% here. I think LSU made quite the impression over the last two weeks.

Devonta Smith, WR, 6-1, 160, Amite HS, 40%--I am back to around 25-30% on Smith ending up in BR.

I agree with every one of those except Allen. Also, how does the board feel about Dixon? I haven't read much up on him but I've seen some pretty okay things so far from him

seems like we have gone from being very confident in Mathis to not so confident. giving him the same chance as getting Allen means he gone?

6/10 confidence in 'knowing' where he is going...or 6/10 confidence in going to LSU?
That is a drastic change.

The Mathis number is concerning. Allen's number seems too high.

I don't like that Mathis and Chassion are on the same level as Allen.

ETA: Bc I'm assuming Allen is going to be a gump.

Idk where the confidence in allen is coming from. That radio interview indicated 100% bama bound

That's what I figured, it just seemed extremely high after everything else coming out including the radio interview. But, IDGAF, I'll ride regardless.
