I gotta wade in this pool and let you guys know whats being said on other boards...first...think about this for a minute...the Hendersons KNEW that USC was being investigated way before committing yesterday...hell the whole college world knew that. The Hendersons are throwing smoke screens out there my friends. What supposedly happened was that diddy wanted something something and Meyer & staff backed down and didnt even send them a LOI to sign...they wanted the kid but ask the dad to end his demands...which are unclear...but obviously he thought he could shop his kid around.
We all know the slimeball that spiffy kiffy is and rumor has it that he was going to meet demands of diddy and have him meet some influential people in the rap industry...which is no no...its still giving an extra perk that is a violation....the rumor goes that a booster of USC was aware of this and they got scared at the last minute because of all the crapola thats been going on over in La La land....so THATS why the reneged LOI signing. The Henderson knew about possible sanctions...but it buys them time. The hearing they are referring to wont decide anything to begin with....its just a start into the dealings at USC.
The other part of this story is Randy Shannon at the Univ of NJ @ Corak Gables who also was asked by diddy to help him with rap career...RS also turned him down...probably fresh in his mind was the fiasco with Arthur Brown (Bryces brother) whoi had a "handler" and was shopped around...well A. Brown is now transferring. This Henderson kid will have to get real....he will balk at the 5am workouts and the hard work it will take to succeed. I blame most of it on diddy.
He has the athletic ability but now he has become a little spoiled at the bright lights. Oh, BTW the spiffy kiffy also signed Bryce Brown ..Arthurs brother who was shopped around too so he is dirtier than a 2 yr old in a sandbox. Hendersons are holding the LOI over everyones heads trying to get something that isnt allowed....again a rumor but expect the NCAA to come out of broom closets on this one.

His dad is asking him to hold out and maybe even refusing to sign the parental consent unless if he gets a deal.

Let us not presume to know about the kid and declare him a head case. For all that you claim to know, he could well be pleading with his dad to just sign his letter and get it over with.

I am in my 60s and PC illiterrate...but check out the NY Times...they posted copies of emails Tressel and Meyer sent to Hendersons diddy...it is comical what Tressel sent...he tried to compare diddy with the Grammy award show rap songs...diddy did rap song for Tressels brother, Meyer just sent a straight email with no mention of rap. Diddy wants bright lights and fame and will drag his son to wherever to get it. Its a shame. The NCAA police are watching the Hendersons 24/7 by now with a spy van full of electronic eavesdropping equipment

Oh...and of course the Hendersons are relocating to wherever Seantrel signs...gee...I wonder who is going to pay the freight? They could move right into the house that Reggie Bush's family was in.
