Schools being good that are good for LSU in recruiting and College football

Florida- sucks because we have to play them every year. But when Florida is good they are more likely to win a recruiting battle against Georgia and Bama who are both close enough to make a lot of noise in recruiting there.
Miami- sorta along the same lines. They may win a battle or 2 against the big Bama and Georgia and they may also win some battles against Florida which helps overall because we play Florida.
FSU- more of the same and again hampers Florida.
Those 3 are huge. They can lock down Florida together. Which we may pull a few kids out of but not that many. And most of the time it’s a guy that went to one of the academy’s for the last year of HS from somewhere else.
Clemson- weakens recruiting ground for Bama and Georgia and Auburn.
Georgia Tech- this is an oddity because they are technically a power 5 team but let’s be honest Georgia is the only player in the one of the most power rich states.
Tennesse- again hampers a recruiting ground that LSU doesn’t really tap into much. They also ply Bama every year so it would be nice to not let them be an Easy W.
Ole Miss and Miss St- we fight over their best prospects already with Bama
Texas is one that is dangerous. They can be a major player with NIL but they can split recruits with Texas AM and this is a two way street. But also we tap into Texas a lot so it’s a slippery slope.
Oklahoma also take away recruits from the Texas schools.
USC and Lincoln can keep those QBs and players that Bama has been getting the past few years.
If we can lock down the state and go out and cherry pick a few recruits like BK’s recruiting staff has done.

So basically your take is that every southern team should be good so that it helps LSU?
Not sure I agree. Actually I don’t agree.
Maybe pick three.

Sounds like you just don’t want them all going to bama. Spoiler alert until Saban leaves that ain’t stopping.

Florida state and Miami are the only two on your list that I agree with. Tennessee probably helps a little bit but the rest don’t do much except give LSU a tougher game.

Georgia Tech has a lot of money..it’ll be interesting to see if any donors start taking up football. All they need to do is just recruit metro Atlanta and they can have a great team
