I'm gonna start calling this kid Achilles. He could be the best athlete to come out of the state in my lifetime.

It's quite the compliment. Achilles was supposedly the greatest combat warrior of all time, the son of Zeus himself.

Haha well fortunately for me it's your job to keep his head out of the clouds. He does have a lot in front of him and I'm sure he knows how much effort it takes to succeed. Your boy is immensely talented and I hope he can maintain his center and focus. keep up the good work j, and make sure he plays for the good guys when the time comes

its tough bro...i think we are managing him well tho....he does get out the box every now and then but what else do you expect from a 14 year old male w/testosterone surging thru his veins....

What if 4 years from now Dylan tells you he wants to go to another school besides LSU? I assume he will go through the usual recruiting process and take some visits to different schools. I realize it's a remote chance, but 4 years is a long time and a lot can happen in that time. What would be your response if he says he wants to sign with another school?

its not my decision so i would not have much of a response...all that i can do at this point is condition his mind to understand where the love came from first...

however, we will make sure that where ever he chooses to go is the best fit for him both academically and athletically...

cool...as big as he is this young I see him easily outgrowing LB...he should easily be able to get to 250-260 and still be very fast in 4 years and that puts him at DE. Got to let the growers grow baby!

won't matter where he plays, he'll bEAST

That is the best thing a father can do. It is very similar to how Vadal's father handled it. With that said, i'm really curious to see what position Dylan will eventually play in college.
