Did anyone notice the Bama commit Corey Grant who is listed as the tenth best back in the country and rushed for a wapping 670 yards last year?

He was hurt and missed some games. Ask Urban Meyer if he thought he was the 10th best RB in the country. Florida put the full court press on Grant and he spurned them for Bama.

what about Jalston Fowler, a FB who is rated as a 4* RB running a 4.8 forty who is not eligible for high school ball cause he is too old.

Fowler is also a 4* on Scout, but they have him rated as the #1 FB in the country. I guess you are going to say Scout has a Bama bias now too, huh?

I'd say he has two small athletes who excell in his spread system at RB. They are not NFL material at RB.

The true RB he has he never uses because he doesn't fit their scheme.

I fricking hate defending a Bammer, but we're not talking NFL potential here.

We are talking about "knowing RBs" though and most would not consider Demps or Rainey true RBs. This is like saying Holliday is a true RB.

Demps and Rainey certainly fit Meyer's scheme very well but they are not true RBs in the sense of "knowing RBs".

we're talking about RBs. Do you think Demps or Chris Rainey would be good backs in Bama's offense?
