I think that's what he's missing. Nobody is pissed that he "brought the news first" or "has better sources."

If that were the case, everyone would hate Shea Dixon and Jimmy Smith. What bugs people is when he drops info but he adds to it "worship me. I am a recruiting god." Or "eat a dick you jealous vaginas."

Stuff like that is what bothers people.

On another note, I think this furthers the transition to the 3-4 theory people have.

Jimmy is InTheDetails. He posts on rare occasions. The Duckie thing was a joke because he used to always link his material I believe.

So what do we know about manuel? Stud defensive end who plays at IMG along with smith. That place is a hotbed for FSU, but we did manage to pull Smith out of there pretty early. We have a lot of dlinemen committed so far, with some projected to move to linebacker. Manuel could be a big time player for us, and help establish a more promising pass rush from the ends. Hope we land him. He's a complete end.

Ehh... Maybe. Maybe not. He's already 290lbs so he could easily move inside to DT in a 4-3. Or he could be a monster 3-4DE. Who knows?

And I don't think we will fully switch or run just a 3-4 or a 4-3. Steele has a history of running multiple defenses and I expect the same from him for us. You'll see both 4 man and 3 man fronts IMO.

And it really doesn't matter what we run. If true, we just landed a fricking stud

So Buga, this 99.99 percent is for football commit or the basketball commit we just got?

Manuel is recovering from an injury

Once the off season workouts start and he can get out there he'll slim down a bit

True...

But he will still be 275lbs or so... Similar to Godchauxs size in high school.

There is no hard confirmation of SM's commitment to us...everything Im seeing hints to him being a silent commit to us...but like I said there is no hard confirmation of the someone saying "yes he's committed to us...either being silent or public" most of what I'm seeing is people saying...it's a long way until February. If the person I get my info from speaks I will bring it here if it's appropriate to

I'll let yall know anything as soon as I know

People with reliable sources like me and others dont like to post out shite here bc all you people do is make it miserable. I share this info bc I'm an LSU fan and I know as an LSU fan yall want to hear good news but yall ruin it. It's not even fun to post my predictions anymore
For many of us that use Tigerdroppings as a source for updates and news (i.e., no subscriptions and no sources of our own) welcome any information: rumor, feeling, word-of-mouth, or fact. Only it needs to be classified as such. And it works both ways... a fact (or fairly solid information) presented in the form of hints and such is almost as bad as rumors or wishful thinking presented as fact. I'll take rumor put into context any day over zero information because someone is afraid to put themselves out there because of the lack of certainty.

Credit where credit due, and all bluster aside, BPT7 has most of the time stated what kind of info he has and hasn't as far as I can tell presented a rumor/feeling as sourced information. He's not alone, but the number of posters who do that is fairly short.

Poor Mudd. If he had simply posted with some form of grammar, he would be a hero here today.
Can see that. I didn't know what to make of what he was saying in that deleted thread either, so I defaulted to "overly cautiousmistic". The same rule applies here as in the real world, including business, presentation of both bull shite and facts matter. Poor presentation makes one look like the other sometimes.

Iv been following LSU recruiting since 2006 and I'm still having a hard time seeing as to what the advantages of being a "silent commit" are.

there are none. I don't get too excited until a kid goes public. Silents mean nothing.

I agree, but its still a little nerve racking until the faxes start coming in.

Always love the ones that send it in in the A.M.
