I'm going to take this as:
a.) He came here and saw all of the top flight WR recruits and thought that there would be too much competition if they all committed, and
b.) It was apparent that all of those top flight WRs were, in fact, going to commit to LSU

Definitely best of luck to him. And I'm not saying that the kid was scared of competition or that we didn't want him, but if you have a situation where you can stay close to home and be "the guy" or leave home and possibly be the 4th guy, it would be hard to not choose door #1.
Also, looking at this from another positive angle for LSU, it's just another example of how strong the pull to play for the home team can be. That should serve LSU well with the boys from the boot.

Good for him. I've said this before, but if Rutgers ever starts to lock down the talent in New Jersey, they could compete for a national title.

You definitely got the feeling he saw Noil, Dupre and Quinn and went "yikes". Then went to Rutgers and said "dang, I'm a 1000 yard receiver here easily."
I'd love to get Noil, Dupre and Quinn and call it a day. We dont need 5 WRs this class. We just wouldn't turn down Blacknall along with the the 3 aforementioned already having Upchurch and possibly Chark (no telling which way he plays yet IMO).

Good luck to the kid. I was a big fan until all this scared bullshite. Kids living his life the wring way yhinking like that. No nfl future with that mindset. He's scared of hs kids. I'd be embarrassed if I thought thid way.
