Look, Saban ain't dumb. He knows LF doesn't want to play LB and isn't recruiting him as one anymore. It was an early suggestion that didnt sit well with LF and is something he remembers, since he mentioned it to another kid. He let Spears play TE his Freshman year, so he doesn't force position changes on kids he really wants.

Saw him at 7 on 7 Wednesday and he was playing safety!
