The only game we played that was meaningful was the seccg. The first 12 games was just to let the other schools know that their time is up. As far as Utah, who gives a frick, I'd have rather not even played it. At Alabama, the only thing that makes a f--k is championships.

Saban is the Bobby Knight of college football--a ranter nation favorite.

It is funny to me how you guys post these type of threads that are obviously directed at recruits that may be reading this website.
Sorry, Scoop, but that is just a downright ridiculous presumption on your part.

...Saban would not have yelled at him. I think that kind of accountability ...
Yep, a national audience observed how Saban's one flew over the cuckoos nest sideline psychosis helped inspire his players to win the Sugar for 'Bama. That's some accountability.

No, actually, if Saban makes a habit of being a
Not to worry, that won't happen since he'll do what he's always done throughout his coaching career: move on just about the time his players start tuning him out. That's been Saban's MO throughout his career.

That's a fact, as a commentator so aptly pointed out: Utah came to play in the Sugar Bowl, Alabama wanted to play in the BCSNCG.
Here's a thought: if you and 'Bama find anything less than a spot in the BCSNCG beneath you, simply decline a Bowl invite. That'll at least spare 'Bamer the humiliation and embarrassment on national TV annually.

Utah was a Double digit underdog and they handed Bama their arse.

There were other meaningful games, like the first 12, the Clemson, Georgia, ole miss, lsu, miss state, and auburn games. They were all enjoyable.

Go easy on Nick. He was in the process of getting his own national stage humiliation courtesy of the Utes.
