Miles wins as an underdog against one of the hottest teams in the nation and people here still berate him.
Saban (the enemy) after looking like the best coach in football tanks the only really meaningful games this season, one of which he is a double digit favorite and people here defend him.
I know exactly what Mudminnow was trying to say...This board has become the Rant.

Saban was yelling at his guy to get the Utah player out of bounds. Run him out of bounds to stop the clock. It was about four minutes on the clock and the Tide were down two scores. The Alabama kid tackled the Utah player about one foot from the sideline... All he had to do was give the guy a shove to get him out of bounds.

If he hadn't F'ed up, Saban would not have yelled at him. I think that kind of accountability is what was missing from LSU's Def this year.

Nobody really ever says it. Saban is an A-hole. He always was, even when he was at LSU. I am not saying he can't coach. He can. But he has always talked down to fans and to the media like they are idiots for questioning him in any way. He is all about Saban. He is the first to criticize a player when he makes a mistake and he doesn't do it with tact. Miles on the other hand treats all his players with respect as well as the fans and the media. Don't think he doesn't get angry. He just controls it and handles himself with class

this thread is great. He's yelling at a player! A player that deserved to get yelled at for not using his head. Some of you just hate Saban, and anything he does will be perceived negatively. Nobody thinks less of Saban as a human being than me, but this is a non issue. Who cares? I have no problem with this. It is OK to get on players. I wish we had some of this for Alem and Johnson vs Arkansas along with a good benching for the rest of the game. Saban doesn't play remember Damian James. Losing James hurt the team bad that season, but it was right to do long term. Many of these kids are spoiled by people telling them they are so great all the time. Nothin wrong with a good but chewin when u screw up.

You know what? This guy is right. Here's a question, who is yelling at Saban due to his lack of preparing his team to play? I'd love to see the Alabama Athletic Director call Saban into his office and blast him like he does these kids. Apparently GOD Saban isn't human and isn't prone to mistakes like most of us. OOOOPPPS! I'm sorry, I forgot about UL Monroe and Utah. I can guarantee you I would disown my kid if he played for Sabab. ZERO integrity and get's his jollies by showing up KIDS on national television. The guy is a jerk, good coach, recruiter, etc. But the guy is a total a-hole. When asked about Utah using his comments as motivation. He said, I guess the whole damn thing is my fault. Or something along those lines.

It is funny to me how you guys post these type of threads that are obviously directed at recruits that may be reading this website. What Saban was doing to that player was turning him into a champion that may have a chance to play at the next level.
To any recruit that may be reading this, if you want to play football for a pussy you don;t need to come to Alabama because you don't have what it takes to play for our coach.
