S. Sampson with 2 TD catches vs Rummel tonight.

10 catches for 143 yards and 2 TD.
33 yard TD catch and 29 yard TD catch. Both were over Ashton Stamps who was in coverage on him pretty much the entire game.
Bears won 24-0.
Bears freshman safety Bradford is a dog. Kid will be a Top 50 caliber player one day. CHS D is very good.

That kid is criminally underrated. How is he not a consensus 5 star? Has the size, speed and hands. I do think with the success LSU is about to run with, the recruiting rankings will start to be like Alabama’s….. as in the Wii bump a recruit up bc they are going to LSU.

Sampson Jr is a dogg, he will play a lot early as a freshman if not start. Imo he's better than Jaray Jenkins and Bech.

Stamps was in position to make a play on the ball. Just needs to turn his head and that's a pick or deflection.

“Decent technique”? No it wasn’t. He let Sampson get past with hardly any contact. You can’t do that. The pass was way underthrown, but Sampson had him beat by at least four feet.

Looks more like an athleticism issue here. Looked good coming out of his back pedal and flipping his hips. Most dbs panic and don't locate the ball after getting beat. He tried to get his head around at the end though. Definitely some positive things to work with.
