Can somebody fill me in on the inside story. I hadn't asked for it but I'm getting tired of not knowing.

You really don't see how missing a mandatory practice prompted by the possibility of him visiting LSU would affect his playing time?

Where did I say I didn't?

Maybe I misunderstood but you seemed to insinuate as much in your post.

thanks for that... really thanks

You miss a mandatory practice , you risk sitting out a game. I never said he would mess with his transcripts. Scheduling a mandatory practice to prevent a visit is a threat no matter how you look at it.

"Where does it say there would be other backlash, i.e. playing time, screwing with paperwork, etc."

Seems to me you don't think it's possible because it wasn't explicitly stated in an article. But from my vantage point, these possible negative outcomes by his coach seem to be the problem with him visiting LSU.

So in that case he should be al clear to switch now? Why the need to lie and say he's sticking with ut? Obv his coach has zero say on if he switches or comes out and says he'll likely end up elsewhere else with the DC change

The only thing I can guess is the fact that they're still playing. Maybe something will change after their title game? Who knows.

Game or not, what's preventing him from speaking out and why the need to lie?

So we could get commits from him and Shazier tonight?

Not likely, but that would get the weekend off on the right track.

I don't know just from understanding how his coach reacted to his possible visit, the guy seems like he could be a total dick and maybe it's easier to just not deal with it during the season and do it after. Or maybe he's really sticking with UT. Who knows, but hope isn't totally lost.

I don't see how having a game left on the sched has anything to do with it or necessitates a need to lie or keep it quiet
