Well maybe you're right but I think our perspective is different in regards to how we would deal with a coach at this stage in our life and how this kid chooses to deal with it.

I just don't buy that the coach would or could do anything to prevent him from switching outside of scheduling a practice. After that was done that's ab the limit of what he can/would realistically do.

I don't disagree. But I don't know what's going through his head, or if we're just wanting it to be a certain way to placate our own LSU ego. But Mett waited to go public and to some that may not have made a whole lot of sense.

Sometimes coaches don't let a recruit go public so they can generate momentum when they need it. Kiffin did that alot.
Who knows why he lied (if he did lie).... if you notice I did say in that story that I never said he would sign with LSU. I know things change in recruiting.
