Ok finally got to a computer. I figured Scott should have been gone by now but I thought maybe people were scared off by the other 2 corners Texas brought in. Oh well.
I'm convinced Shannon was vastly underrated because his first name is Franklin and his last name is a girl's first name. It's probably more due to his lack of size, but the kid can run all over the field and is a great tackler. They only signed one other LB this year, and he was ranked even lower, so given OU's ability to churn out stud LBers I figured this was a good pick.
Aubrey Coleman suffers from Dhaquille Williams syndrome in that he was never going to make it into college, so he dropped in the rankings. But he's a physical freak with a ton of upside whenever he does get into college. The difference between the two is that Dhaquille went to a crappy school while Coleman is just retarded. So hopefully he'll be able to make the grades in JUCO or this could be a bust.
I really like how my team is turning out. My offense should average around 45-70 points per game, and my defense can cover the field against anybody. At this point I'm thinking the 2015 NFL draft will look something like this:
1. Jadeveon Clowney
2. Kiehl Frazier
3. Landon Turner
4. JaJuan Story
5. Mike Blakely
6. Dhaquille Williams
7. Aubrey Coleman
8. Jeff Driskel (Congrats OIT)
9. Jabari Gorman
10. Darian Cooper

JG got a double pick JG77056 - Franklin Shannon, LB. I took him in the 14th round as a Safety.

So JG has now done the dreaded double re-pick.
I thought Shannon had been drafted, but searched "Franklin" and found nothing. Problem is, he was listed as "Frank Shannon" when ABD picked him.

Wow! Thanks for the detective work jembeurt. The dreaded, double dong re-pick. Who would have thunk it.
Please re-pick JG!! I am correcting Frank to read "Franklin". shite is getting confusing!

I could have gone in a lot of different directions with this pick and this was probably the hardest one so far, I even put in another players name and then came back and changed it. But here goes nothing:
Suntiger selects Pat Flavin OT from Illinois. He's a big kid that needs to add weight, but has the frame to do so. There are a few prospects I actually think may become better players, but will end up buried on the depth chart and not play for years like J. Austin. Flavin will need to put on that weight quickly though as he will need to be on the field early as all Illinois' offensive lineman are Juniors and Seniors.
Ht: 6'7"
Wt: 260 lbs
Vertical: 24 inches
40: 5.1
GPA: 3.1

While your at it, in the 10th Round BayouCatFan picked "Jordan Prestonwood OL", but his name is actually Jordan Prestwood. I really thought I had a steal for a few minutes!

Sorry guys I should have put Franklin.

The UW coaches placed him into a JUCO program that they thought was best for him. They will be working with him for the next couple of years and plan on bringing him back to UW if he takes care of business.

Dan it's a fact that you like FSU Olinemen.
I was on my way to pick him up myself this time around. Back to the drawing board.

Well I now feel a little bit better about losing Sterling. It is one thing to lose your player with only one team selecting him, but if two other teams were going to select him right before me, then the earlier the better.
BTW, OldIowa, you do realize you are on the clock?
