Hey Rudy Ray, hang on for a little while.

If we can get Yetty back on, we can shite out of few picks in a hurry.

Ok I need a ruling. I'd like to take a page out of Aba's playbook and take Archie Bradley to be my backup QB and use his signing bonus to make a sizeable donation to Ray Drew's church, and help the Kouandjo family bring relatives from overseas. They would then oddly ask out of their current commitments and join team JG77056.

if that's not permissable I'll take Keelin Smith ESPN #60 overall, #3 Safety and OG Spencer Region

Yea, I'd go with the latter.

I'm going on the offensive side again by choosing the JUCO Rahsaan Vaughn WR Oregon.

Wait what?

When did this get approved?

The rules were set out from last year, one starter at every spot. You can only draft a feasible starting lineup. No one should be drafting "backups" for any position, and it shouldn't have been allowed if it was.

Pretty pleased with how my team's turning out so far despite a few setbacks.

QB-Kiehl Frazier
RB-Mike Blakely
WR-JaJuan Story
WR-Justin Scott-Wesley
WR-Hakeem Flowers
TE
OL-Landon Turner
OG-Spencer Region
OL
OL
OL

DE-Jadeveon Clowney
DT-Delvon Simmons
DT-Darian Cooper
DE-
OLB-Jason Gibson
LB
LB
DB-Jabari Gorman
DB-Keelin Smith
DB
DB

I think I have good balance, good character in most instances, and plenty of upside. Scott-Wesley has the fastest 100M time of any seniors, Cooper could start right away at Iowa, both by DBs are versatile and can play either safety or corner, and I was able to get 2 ESPNU 150 players in the 12th and 13th rounds, one of which is their 60th overall prospect.

I may kick myself for passing on one guy in particular this past round, but I'll live.

He drafted Bubba Starling earlier so I figured the only feasible reason would be to use his baseball signing bonus to buy other players.

Just a little joke.

Oh

Sorry, it's hard to keep up sometimes. I haven't look at all the teams. I saw some brief discussion about Starling, and without double checking, I though he had drafted another QB etc.

Love the Smith pick. His film is impressive. Surprised Rivals didn't think more of him. Just noticed his arse last night!

No I never drafted another. I completely forgot about Starling playing baseball. You guys can rule on that however. I just simply pointed out that I would just pick up a dual threat and run a one back offense. Dan since you run the draft it is however you want to do it. I would be willing to keep Starling and take some crap QB. It's better to at least have someone that gets on campus. Or I could drop Starling and get the last pick in the draft and make it QB only. I don't mind living with my mistake though.

I just thought you had 2, so I was confused.

Re: Starling... I don't see any reason why you couldn't throw him back and take another player. But then again, I don't want to open the floodgates of people saying "hey, I want to throw this guy back now!"

I'm willing to hear thoughts from everyone on it.

Yeah. I also really didn't like the Oklahoma guy who ran the wishbone so that he could have 3 RB's.

Everyone seems to be playing by the spirit of the rules this time.

Yeah like I said above I'll drop Starling and take the last pick in the draft that can be a QB only. Or I could keep him. I made the mistake so I don't mind living with it.

Definitely going to be guard with UNC. Him and Region gives you a really nice set of interior lineman.

As a matter of fact, Turner is the one guy that I regret missing out on. When I first started doing my rankings, he was the one guy I wanted to make sure I had. Last year, guards did not go very high, so I waited. However, I noticed that the guards this year were rated much higher than last year, so I should've pulled the trigger sooner.

Your team is really solid so far.

If you want to do it that way, then I'd have 0 issue with you just taking a QB after every other team has made their selection.

It's whatever, really.

You get 2 supplement picks too, so you could use one of those on a QB, if you wanted.

What do you mean by supplement. What are the rules on it? I'm new to this.

I think I like the idea of him throwing back Starling at the end of the draft. Mainly due to the reason you stated Dan.

If I recall correctly, someone took Z. Lee last year, and was "enfuegoed", so this didn't come up at the end.
