I'm all for it, but he wasn't within 3 picks when the day started.

Bump at 1:00 pm central. We have long pauses at the same spots in each round. Fonz will pick 2 when he shows.

I like Trai better, personally. I just think he has more upside as a guard... he's got a real mean streak, and that's one of my favorite traits for an OL.

Any way you guys would let me take 4 players here and just set out my next turn??? This is the toughest round so far.

First choice, Jason Gibson, LB Cal. If you haven't checked out his video on ESPN yet, I highly recommend it. I was a little worried that Cal signed so many LBs last year, but most of them aren;t there anymore and Gibson is better than most of them anyway. I don't see Cecil Whiteside anywhere on their roster.

OK that pick was easy, now on to the hard one. There are literally 4 guys I want to take here. I'm gonna post this to get Gibson off the board, give me 5 minutes to come up with the next one.

The Trai vs. White comparison is a good one. Trai will probably be the better run blocker, has better strength and more potential but I think he will have to get in better shape first, a la Herman Johnson before he sees the field. White is the beter athlete and could probably play either guard spot, center or right tackle if he had to. He would likely be the more immediate player if you needed one of them to play this year. It will be interesting to watch White, Trai and Austin over the next few years.

IMO & IMHO

Yeah, I think White is the perfect "swing" lineman. Type of guy that could back up every position but LT (and maybe even there in a serious pinch [though I doubt we end up in a pinch at that spot]).

Ok this pick was extremely difficult, but I'm going to take the actual fastest player in the country, Justin Scott-Wesley, WR, UGA. Fastest 100 meter time in the country this year, plays both ways in high school. Will be hampered a bit by running track, but if he sticks with football I like his upside with scouts, as long as Al Davis is still alive.

Now I just sit back and watch my other 3 guys get taken, and cry a little.

If either of the Tigers (Sun or Old Iowa), 102362, Hand or jc77 take my guy, I might just castrate myself.

Too far?

Dan or Pasty?

Second thought, either way, go right ahead.

Thanks Dan. Was close with him and a LB, and I dont have an LB in the house. Guess I better start beating the bushes for a sleeper
