I planned on going 3-4, but after missing on Jesse Williams, I took Cornelius carradien because he figures to be a sure every down starter. Carridne isnt ideal for a 3-4 though. Niether as a OLB or DE. Might end up just saying f it and throwin him at OLB in a 3-4. Between he and Colt Lyerla rushing off the edge, this D will have QB's crapping themselves.

You can find a spot for him, he's a stud.

Last year I wanted to go 3-4, but both my DT ended up being undersized for NT so I went 4-3. Damndest thing is that my DE and OLB from last year got moved to MLB, and one of my DT got moved to DE.
So I guess my defense from last year is a 3-4 with a small DT.

jembeurt selects with his 5th pick.....
Nathan Hughes, DE/DT Oklahoma
Hughes has great size at 6'5", 255. If he stays at that weight, he will be a DE. 20 lbs here or there, and he becomes a perfect rush DT. Either way, with his athleticism, I should be fine.
Now that I have him, I am not sure exactly what defense I will be running. Having Nathan now opens up the 3-4, with him being a perfect fit as a DE in the 3-4. It will all depend if I can find that big plugger for the middle.

What do you plan on doing with both Jesse Williams and Johnathan Jenkins? Thats about 800 pounds of DT.
Posted on 3/10/11 at 6:34 pm to HARRY3740
I plan on not allowing the other team to run. At all.
Going back and updating your big board after a day or so is always annoying when the next three guys you hoped would fall back up to you have been taken away

Already taken, pick again

SHEROID EVANS DB Texas. Evans is the fastest football prospect in this class. Track star doesn't come close. HIs potential is limitless as he has tremendous ball skills and is very physical. Good size at 6'1 185 with room to grow. Could play either safety or corner. Draws many comparisons to Michael huff. Texas loses about 57 db's this year too, so early playing time. Future 1-2nd round NFL draft pick. Book it.
