I think I may have reached a bit on Blakely. I had Frazier and Walsh, ready to pick one of the 2, and I had Aaron Gren and Herschel Sims ready to pick one of the 2. Both RBs went of right before I picked so I panicked.
I do think he'll end up being a good player, I just don't think he'll ever be THE Guy at Florida.
ETA: All 3 of my guys I have written down are still there. Now I'm kinda hoping one gets picked so I don't have to make the choice

That guy is a stud. He's a perfect fit for the DE position in Cal's 3-4.

Well what are their names? Maybe I can help you out when I pick.

Thought you'd like that pick.

I messed up not taking Jesse Williams with one of my first 2 picks. I figured he would drop to the 7th or 8th round because he is a JC and plays the 3-4 nosetackle position that not many need because of style of play. Oh well. I have my back up plan and I doubt any of you know about this guy.

Ohhhh. Mr. Sneaky Man.
I think so far, I have wasted too much time trying to find guys for the later rounds that I skipped out on a few of the big guys in the early rounds. The only miss I have had so far was Brey Cook, but like I said earlier, I have lost out on a player in every round.

As we've already discussed here earlier today, people have generally been on their shite this year in terms of selections.

I was honestly surprised that he was still on the board when I picked.

Yeah, I'm looking to take the guy that you like that he likes that he may take in the 4th round because that other guy likes this guy's teammates who is best friends with the guy I like and one other guy likes.

Sheldon Richardson DT
Am I missing something? How is the top juco player in the country still around?

Was he taken last year?
If so, he's not eligible.

Anywho.........
I'm taking a QB for my defense. I choose Wayne Lyons out of Dillard High School. He signed with Stanford and he's a smart kid. I think he will step in very soon and do well out there quarterbacking the defensive secondary. He's going to be my Strong Safety and I'm pretty dang glad to have him.
How many kids send a 75-line questionnaire to schools that they are considering?
I'm excited about this one.

I thought he had been taken last year too.......

Solid pick. I'm staying away from Stanford b/c I don't know how good they'll be after Luck leaves with the loss of Harbaugh. Same reason I stayed away from Vaughters. But Lyons is definitely a stud player.
I have a couple safeties lower on my board I'm hoping to snag later so thankfully you didn't pick who I thought you would.

Wait, so who is on the clock now?

Posted on 3/8/11 at 4:15 pm to The Yetty
SunTiger, I think jc has to make a re-pick if Richardson was taken last year.
Posted on 3/8/11 at 4:15 pm to JG77056
Yeah, I never planned on taking several Stanford guys but I think you can't argue with the talent of Lyons and Vaughters so I truly think they will do well because they are smart, natural athletes so even if Stanford goes in the shitter, I think they will succeed.
Maybe I intended to throw ya'll off.
Yetty.........we're on whoever is after me although jc77 may need to re-pick if we confirm that Sheldon Richardson was indeed chosen last year.

Didn't want to take him as he only has 2 years to play and the mizzou fan boards were talking about him like he was a backup type this year
