This pick was very tough for me due to the fact that I really thought Townsend would just keep on slipping. I only had one backup plan to him, but I wasn't sure about taking him. I had my phone in my hand to text Pasty, and I get a text from him saying that Aundrey Walker was selected by dolemite. At that point, I think I might have scrambled.
Although I think I might have reached for him, I didn't want to lose out on a premier Mike LBer. They were only a couple left, and I don't think either would have came back to me.
With Hughes, I get a great student of the game, as well as a great tackler with tremendous power. He won't start next year, but a redshirt will probably not be in his future. Special teams to start with at least two years of starting at the Mike.

Since Dolemite is back at the moment, I will hold off on my plan to flip Dan for TSB4L's 1st pick (L. Collins).

Arg. There's three people I really want right now.
And I hate picking Bama players.
But, with my 4th round pick, I select Marvin Shinn, WR, Alabama. With Julio gone, he should get some pt this year, and once he adds a little weight after his first year he could be just as much a deep threat as JJ ever was. Even if he gets a RS, he'll still be a force in the coming years. He's 6'3 and I like it when they're 6'3!

If defense, I would have grabbed him. If offense, there were better guards available.
