No, not a reach at all. Although I have no idea who'll be throwing to him he's definitely a solid WR. There may be 1 or 2 I have rated higher than him still available but you got the player you wanted and he probably wouldn't be available when you pick again.

Since Rasco is the next highest rated LSU guy out there, can we just give him to TigerPhanatick and get moving?

BTW, TDawg's pick of Kasen wasn't a reach, but are you really going to continue to select all west coast guys?

Exactly. There is no way he will be able to do this on his honeymoon. I'm sorry, but I can't see him continuing.

No, but those are the guys I know the most about and am the most comfortable with their situations. I follow recruiting, but not typically national recruiting, so it's going to be tough for me to draft guys from the East and South that I don't know much about. It's also only been 3 draft picks. Seferian-Jenkins is a guaranteed instant impact starter, Moala is a perfect NT for Cal's 3-4 defense, and Williams will probably start and play a major role as a Freshman.

Also, what should we do about non-qualifiers from last year.I see Martavis Bryant, Kelcy Quarles and Travon Van were a few taken that didn't get in.

IMO they should hold over... And not be eligible for this year's draft.

Yep. I think they are your player whether they are 1st team AA or selling newspapers on the corner. I have 1 kid who is having to attend a JUCO before getting into the University of Washington, where he originally signed an LOI. He will eventually get there.

Not only don't I have a Tiger, I don't even have a player from the SEC yet. ACC, Big 12 & Big 10.....my team is doomed! Just barely kidding.

Hey Pasty, do y'all have RollTiger's info to wake him up?

After DePriest was picked, I have been sweating this pick out a lot. Not sure what I am going to do if he takes the player I want right here.

Oh, I was already awake. Just doing last-minute research!

I pick Jesse Williams, Alabama DT. I'm shocked that he fell to me this low, as he's projected to start next year and is a physical monstrosity. He only has two years to play, but scouts are saying he should have a bigger impact on the Tide's front than Cody ever did.

jembeurt selects with his third pick....

Matthew Hegarty, OT Notre Dame

With 5 returning seniors, he might not see PT as a freshman. However, with 5 seniors leaving from 2010, the OL could be in for a shakeup. Even if he redshirts, which could be good for him to bulk up a tad, his main competition will be two then sophs, who logged no PT as true freshman.

If anything, with ND signing 5 OLmen this class, it is showing that they have a need. And I'll gladly take the jewel of that OL class.

BTW, by no means am I a ND homer with two of my three picks being ND guys. I simply loved the situation both these players have, and feel that, like most coaches, Kelly will favor his own recruits a little more.

I like that pick. I just don't feel comfortable picking who will be a real stud along the OL, which is why I'm saving those picks for the middle rounds where I can be sure that I'm set up everywhere else. I don't want to pick a colossal bust of a lineman, as so many of the top rated ones have seemed to be since I've followed recruiting

Not saying I am great at this, but you just have to find good situations for guys, and look at their tape, especially with the highly rated guys. (Thanks Captain Obvious)

Last year, I did really well with two of my OLmen starting multiple games (James Hurst, UNC and Erik Kohler, UDub). However, one of my higher rated guys, Chaz Green from Florida, looks like he might be buried in the depth chart. My other guard got turned into a DT at Memphis.

This draft is very hard, so you can't expect to have 100% success rate. Just try to find the best situations with these players, and you'll be fine.

Yes he is. He was the other I was debating on when I took Frazier. He'll sit out next year and then probably start after that, I just wonder what effect losing Holgerson will have on their offense. Solid pickup though.

I don't understand the Jacoby Brisset pick but hey, we all have players we like.

I select Kelvin Benjamin wr for FSU. This guy is gonna be a game changer sooner rather than later. 6'6 deep threats are money.
