For clarity's sake, do I need to create an entire team of 22 players? I intend to, but can I get away with getting two rbs instead of a fullback?
Yes.
11 offense and 11 defense.
There is some flexibility on that though. Obviously different systems allow for different personnel.
I think some guys last year drafted 2 RBs (I think I even did). So you don't HAVE to have a FB or TE.
But you can't take like 6 WRs or something like that.

It just has to be a realistic team is the way I look at it. You could have 2 TE if you want but then you sacrifice a WR.
You just need to be able to line up in a realistic set.

Exactly. I think I had two RBs last year, but the 2nd guy was more of a combo player (Percy Harvin esque) that could line up at WR/RB. So that's acceptable.

shite, there goes that 21st round FB I was going to take!
But seriously. I believe it was OUandLSUfan last year that ran a wishbone offense, which allowed him to select 3 RBs. Now he still had 11 offensive players, but did not have a TE, which is really hard to find outside of the top 10 or so. In fact, what is the difference of someone selecting 3 WRs and one APB and saying they are running a spread?
I think it is a little more fair for everyone to select the same offesive set, or something close to it. Now this is just my opinion, and not what I think we should do for this draft.
More than likely, I will select a FB, and if that puts me behind the 8-Ball, than so be it. I just think it is harder to put together an entire team, instead of just throwing players together. Of course, teams now-a-days don't have FBs, so maybe my point it moot.
Chit. I just saw that OLdIowa wrote the same as me, but with a lot less wording. Damn I type too much.

Hey Harry.
don't you know how to get in touch with Fonz?
I had saw you contacted him with his first pick.

Last year I went with 1 running back, 1 tight end and 3 WRs. I am sure I will do the same this year unless I grab a pro style qb. If Wilder was still available I would grab him and put him at fullback. That is where I predict he ends up.

Im in class with Fonz right now. He wants Brent Calloway, LB from Alabama. Solid pick by the way.

Kiehl Frazier
Mike Blakely
Sorry, felt like I was running in to beat the Bills to the podium.
Took Frazier because he will likely see some playing time as a freshman, and then has every chance to be the starter his sophomore year and beyond. Also fits that system really well. He'll be playing behind a pretty solid Oline once they develop so I like that aspect.
Blakely might have been a reach as he'll probably never be THE guy in the backfield at Florida, but I like squatty backs with speed and change of direction. I had Aaron Green and Herschel Sims above Blakely and would have taken them instead.
I'll check back next week and see if it's close to my turn again.

Fonz takes Brandon Shell. OT from South Carolina.

I had two RBs and three WRs last year. Although, I had a power back and a speed back.

Jesus that was all so fast. I'm really dodging bullets here!
I have to go to a meeting. Dan has my picks. Ya'll have fun; I won't be around much until Sunday late when I get back from NOLA.

Two guys I looked really closely at. I like Blakely a lot, but I hate Florida's depth chart at the RB position.
I was debating on Frazier with my next pick, but decided to pass since I think Malzhan will leave in a year or two and with the posibility that AU may end up on probation or something.

Frazier is the most high risk/high reward player in this class. Little known fact, Shiloh Christian runs Malzahns offense. It is a slimmed down version, but Frazier already knows the basics. IMO, Frazier starts immediately at Auburn. Then there is the fact Malzahn leaves and the possibility of sanctions. It will be interesting to watch things develop with Frazier.
