No, not yet. There's some discussion about how this will happen.. not sure of the consensus.

If you guys really want to declare a winner how about this? Each of us do a write up on our own team listing our picks. Then we each read over those and come up with our own top 5 and send in to Dan and Pasty. 1st overall gets 5 points, 2nd gets 4, 3rd gets 3, 4th gets 2 and 5th gets 1. Whoever gets the most points wins. It doesnt really matter who comes in 10th place so what is the point in voting past top 5. I dont think there should be any public discussion on how we voted so as not to influence other voters. Just a thought. At the same time, Dan and Pasty have done a ton of work updating spreadsheets and all that. They may want a break.

I'd be happy to tabulate the results, but I can tell you now if I do then I'll probably end up winning.

We tried something like this last year, and it just didn't work out.
There is really no way to say who has a better team right now. This might have to wait at least a couple of years(for TigerPHag, couple=2, few=3 or more). Then we can see who has played significant time, accumilated stats, and so on.
Also, while I am on it, the 85 limit might not be a good idea. I think we might be selling our drafting skills a little short. Drafting 25 per, AND keeping our roster to 85, would mean cutting 8 players per year. We were only drafting a total of 625 players, not the thousands of prospects that get taken every year by all colleges. Taking my last class, there is no way I could cut 8 players from that team, and that is only after one year. Most of these players will see a major amount of PT throughout their careers. There are still a good amount of players that I would still want on my team that have not been drafted. Good players will end up being cut down the road on taking a chance on a upcoming freshman.
Your argument would be to only draft for the amount of spots available on your team. This would begin to leave out really good players as we might only draft 200-300 players in that given year. That just doesn't sound right to me.
I say that we keep it the way it is. Draft a full, competitive team, EVERY YEAR, and see how that team competes over the players careers. Then we can take a year-to-year look on who has got the best team.
If you would want to combine the players every year, I would suggest that each team can have a max of 110 or so, which would be a lot easier if cuts had to be made.

First of all, Dee Hart is permanently ineligible. This is official.
Second of all, I would be glad to do a write up of my team. It will really be who can sell their team the best. Let the ego stroking begin!!!

Who made that official no vote was taken.
If Dan or Pasty says so then so be it but I haven't read that anywhere.
He should be allowed to get drafted next year with three years of elgibilty remaining. What he does his freshman doesn't count to any teams score.
That's nit even saying I will get him next year.

Sorry TPhan, but I'm also voting to make this the 2011 "Dee Hart Memorial" Recruiting Mock Draft.
And I don't really think you can start judging these classes until at least four years down the road. Cam was just a JUCO, but somebody from last years class is going to win a Heisman and probably be a bigger star than Cam...maybe Lache from Oregon...we just don't know yet. I just like the fact that I now care about SMU's offensive production (I took Stephen Kaiser, their QB last year) and Nebraska's RB situation (I took Aaron Green this year). I would have never even cared about it otherwise.

You simply can't just give a top 20 player to a team just because he wants him. I'd love to have him too, but it wouldn't be fair.

I feel exactly the same way. I selected Tyler Bray, QB Tenn last year and now I am a fan of his, but still don't like Tenn. Add to that, Justin Worley was drafted this year, and now I am not starting to like him because he could come in and take Bray's job. I think it is unlikely, but still the competition remains.
This is fantasy football at it's best!
That is why I like taking each class separately and seeing how each player performs throughout their individual career.

I also vote to let Dee Hart float off into oblivion.

Thast fine lets vote. If you guys hate on the kid in an imaginary game for no money whats so ever thats fine. But he should be able to get drafted next year.
Harry: I am not saying put him on my team. He should be draft elgible next year. If I can get him then fine but I am sure he will go early.
So If he doesnt make his grades adn goes to a JUCO we can get but if he redshirts we cant draft him that makes no sense.
Why are leaving players out becuase fo someone quitting? Next year it will be fair for eveyone to have a shot at him.

I don't think Dee Hart will be offended that he doesn't get drafted in this thing.
Also, He isn't gonna red-shirt. It's stupid to pick somebody who is already a known college player with stats.
The first year we did the draft we didn't draft sophomores just because they "deserved" to be in the draft. It's foolish. The whole point is drafting a team of guys that we have no idea how or if they are going to pan out. No harm done if Dee Hart isn't taken because many players that are in this class that go undrafted are going to be HUGE names in the years to come.

I am working on some analysis to see where the teams stack up so far. I will post later. Pretty interesting so far.
Stay tuned.

I do agree with purpose of drafting.
But I don't agree with sidelining a kid that we can clearly see he was gonna get drafted. Becuase we can decide who team he goes on.
There are multiple fair solutions to this but I for some odd reason you guys are if I can't have then no one can. And it's just a game.
So if you guys are jar he'll bent on on sitting this kid fine I will get over it. But it's a damn shame that a top 3 RB will not counted in this game.
