Quick note on this draft so far:
Before Hand's pick of Huggins, there were 42 picks (21 offense and 21 Defense).
With the Huggins pick, he becomes the 7th(8th if you count Wilder Jr. as a RB) to be selected.
Also, 7 LBs and DEs have been selected. Really shows the depth as there are still a number of great athletes still left in those 3 positions.

Your numbers are off a bit or you mislabeled: there's another quarterback who was taken and I think more linebackers.

Xzavier Dickson DE/OLB
this guy was one of the fastest off the edge at either all star game... I'll be in New Orleans the next few days and will definitely need an email or text reminder Dan

Gollee I'm really struggling with this pick. It's pretty much a coin toss between two guys.
However, given this is my short pick (I'm at the bottom so I come back around in only 13 picks), I've got to take Herschel Sims. I'm a little surprised that he's still here and he's walking into a great situation at OSU.
They don't have a ton of backs and they are all young which tells me he can come in and compete right away. Oddly enough, Rivals analyst compares him to Eduardo Clements.........my RB from last year. I guess that speaks to the kind of back that I like.
22 aska, jr. joe Aska, Jr., Joe RB 70 5-10 199 2 RS FR Edmond, OK/Edmond North
46 branson derek Branson, Derek RB 73 6-1 240 1 FR McKinney, TX/Boyd
44 goodwin grant Goodwin, Grant RB 68 5-8 204 3 SO Jenks, OK/Jenks/Colorado School of Mines
30 paulsen david Paulsen, David RB 75 6-3 250 5 JR Marietta, GA/George Walton
1 randle joseph Randle, Joseph RB 73 6-1 191 3 SO Wichita, KS/Southeast
32 roberts michael Roberts, Michael RB 69 5-9 194 7 SR Albany, GA/Cache
31 smith jeremy Smith, Jeremy RB 70 5-10 202 4 RS SO Tulsa, OK/Union
What do ya'll think about this one?

Damn, I wish SunTiger was online. Thought we were really about to start rolling.

I think it's a great pick. This year is insanely deep for running backs.

Herschel Sims is also a good name IMO just as important as all his other qualities

With the 47th pick in the RMD, Suntiger selects, Aaron Green RB of Nebraska. Some may say this is a reach at 47, but Green has true talent and has been compared to Lache Seastrunk. It also doesn't hurt that Green will pretty much be assured the number two spot on the depth chart since Junior Rex Burkhead is the only real returning running back. He could also likely see early PT in the return game.

Shite! I was pretty confident either Sims or Green would come back around.

Well I guess I'll be waiting until the 20th round to pick my running back now

The sad part is that I have two RBs that I really like, but both of them are not even rated in Rivals.
Not sure if I want to go with those guys as my main back.

Ehh, I think RB is the one position where you can get away with this. Last year I took Spencer Ware in the first round, but guys scooped up RB's in the last few rounds that looked just as promising. Just gotta dig deep for the guys that will start at smaller schools.

I despise anything Nebraska-related so no offense if I hate your RB.

Look no further than me.
I picked Mustafa Greene last year in the LAST round. He had a couple of injuries in high school, but all of his tapes were amazing. Well, he went ahead and led N.C. State in rushing yards and TDs, as well as being 4th in catches.
Not saying I will be this lucky again, but I think I might be taking the same route this year with RBs. Hope it doesn't bite me in the arse.

No problem. I'll admit that I'm passing on a player or two because of the team they play for. Sorry to say though, Green looks to be an awesome fit for the option in Nebraska. We'll have to see what the move out of the Big12 North does though. Might hurt stats, but will likely help exposure for awards and things like that.

Nice choice. He's on my top 5 DT board

SERENITY NOW!!!!!
My board is getting demolished.

For clarity's sake, do I need to create an entire team of 22 players? I intend to, but can I get away with getting two rbs instead of a fullback?
