Taken in the 23rd round by Dolemite

When I texted Ameer Abdullah in to ya I was just hoping he was still available with the run on RBs and athletes. He's the only name I had on my list and have no access to this board while teaching. I thought he may be used as a slot WR/RB(he scored in the Bama/Miss all star game) but reports are that he looked good at DB in another all star game, so who knows, but he had an awesome offer list and seems to be an impact guy either way

Ok the addition of Marcus and Sanders cement my squad in the all name division. I've got a Jadeveon, Kiehl, Dhaquille, Adeboye, Kadetrix, Laderice, and an Edsel Caprice...2 different cars!
Sanders gives my team a lot of flexibility. If Dhaquille doesn't make it to campus I can flip Skov to an H back and plug Sanders in the defense. He had 151 tackles as a junior, but I never saw any senior numbers.
Kadetrix is just a solid tackling safety prospect who has the potential to turn into a stud, so I took a flier on him.
Final Team with video links
DE- Jadeveon Clowney Concensus #1 recruit in the country. Absolute monster coming off the corner and should be a top 5 pick 3 or 4 years from now. Since I didn't pick last year I had a goal of getting a top 5 pick, a Heisman candidate, 6-9 all conference players, and a few other things, and Clowney crosses off the top 5 pick.
DT- Darian Cooper Played at DeMatha, went against Cyrus Kouandjou in practice every day so he has experience going against top talent. Iowa graduated 3 of their 4 deep at DT and have 1 senior returning. He's better than all the other DTs they recruited recently so he should play as a true freshman.
DT- Delvon Simmons Switched to Texas Tech after I drafted him. Big time athlete, hopefully he's not a headcase.
DE- Aubrey Coleman JUCO prospect heading to Washington if he can get his grades in order. He is a ruhtard though so I might be drafting DE high again next year. I wish there was more footage of him at DE but his athleticism is unquestioned.
MLB- Patrick Skov Quite simply, he plays like he wants to kill people. Older brother starts at LB @ Stanford so he's going into a good environment.
OLB- Jason Gibson Love this kid's film. Great tackler and runs well. Very instinctual. Trevon Randle plays a lot like this but Gibson's a little thicker.
OLB-Edsel Caprice Video coming, but he was 1st team all state in Florida, runs a sub 4.5 40, and I like his name.
S- Jabari Gorman Looked really solid in the UA all american game, hopefully will flourish under Muschamp. Not afraid to come up and tackle.
S- Keelin Smith ESPN's #5 rated safety, 60th overall, and I got him around 300. Ball hawking 6'3 safety with corner speed and skills. Plays a different position as Karlos Williams and both these guys together will dominate a secondary.
CB- Devin Bowman ESPN #12 rated corner, Rivals #29 athlete, I got him around the 18th round. Great speed and hands and if Malcolm Mitchell gets moved to offense he could be seeing the field even earlier. Could see time as a return man early.
CB-Adeboye Aromire Can't find any free video, but he's 6ft and runs a 4.43, and he's going to play defense at Va Tech so he should develop well.

QB- Kiehl Frazier Frazier is my Heisman prospect. Has a chance to play some as a freshman and should win the job outright by his sophomore year. Has a lot of talent around him and in front of him on the line, and will play in a system that should allow him to flourish.
RB- Mike Blakely Short, compact with speed and moves. Solid all purpose back, and with Florida moving to more of a pro style he should develop into a solid prospect and put up numbers
WR- JaJuan Story Story reminds me a lot of Andre Johnson on film. Big, physical, fast receiver who runs good routes and can go up for the football. Charlie Weiss has churned out receivers at the college level and Story should be another great.
WR- Justin Scott-Wesley Has the fastest 100M time of anyone in the country, but is a thick, solidly built receiver. Also plays linebacker and loves hitting people, so he's definitely not a track guy playing football. I just don't know how good his hands are but he'll destroy some guys on an end around.
WR- Hakeem Flowers Another track guy I think is extremely underrated. Has good height, great hands, and goes up and gets the ball well. Should be a big fish in the small pond of NC State. He and Story will be my 2 outside guys.
WR-Dhaquille Williams Can't find any free video, but there was debate on whether he or Jarvis Landry was the best receiver in the state last year. That should say enough. Can't wait to see them both in P&G.
OT-Jamar Lewter Was the big man MVP of the Rutgers Nike camp ahead of a slew of big name guys like Ish Williams and others. 6'8 280 pound tackle with some athleticism.
OG- Landon Turner Stud run blocker, 3.7 GPA, National Honor Society and a team leader. I'll take a guy with his work ethic and ability to maul people anyday.
C-Isaac Luatua Here was his quote when he signed with Bama: "I will fight for, sell out everyday to make them proud and show them how fortunate and grateful I am for this opportunity." 6'2 300 pounder with a mindset like that can also play for me any day of the week.
OG- Spencer Region Not well liked on this board, but he's a big fat guard that was liked by a lot of scouting services, so hopefully he isn't a dumbass.
OT- Shane Mertz Another tall, big tackle prospect. I think he's going to Northwestern so he should see the field pretty early also.
Supplemental picks:
Kendal Thompson Probably won't play QB, but he's athletic and instinctual and Stoops will find a place to play him.
Kadetrix Marcus Tough nosed safety, solid athleticism, a tackling machine, and I like his name.
Laderice Sanders- As stated before, had 151 tackles as a junior and he's going to TCU, where defensive players usually get the most out of their potential.
This wraps up my 2011 recruiting class. I don't have a kicker or punter because frankly I don't envision ever needing one aside from 8-10 kickoffs per game. Have fun playing for second place everyone.

I'm bumping to myself so I can stop checking tonight:
Suntiger selects Tyler Cain RB/WR from ULM. Only thing against Cain is his size, however he's quick agile and tough.
Ht: 5' 8"
Wt: 185
40: 4.47

The word on the street, is that the Funderburk situation is over a girl. He is going to classes and I think most feel he will end up starting back up in fall practice. Talented kid, but sounds a bit immature.
Thanks for the info. Hopefully he'll get it together.

My final pick of the 2011 RMD will be Phillip Dorsett, WR who signed with Miami.

Almost there!
Wonder if Slackster will show up and drop his mathematical computations of quantum mass recruiting theory upon us.

My final pick is a strange one I'll admit, but I've been curious about this guy from day 1...
Derek Farniok OL a confirmed 6'9 319 from a family full of football players

On a side note, my top WR pick this year, Quinta Funderburk, has decided to quit football. FML.
Tweeted today he will still play football for Arkansas. He just had a setback recently with something at home or something of that nature, and will be back soon.
ETA: He's been in Fayetteville actually it looks like, and pondered quitting football, but looks like he has decided to keep playing.

I looked at him hard for my tackle position but in the end there was too much bust potential. Could be a great pick for the supplemental round if he fills out.
